Incorrect birthplace of beneficiary on 1-129F

Hello,

We are a few weeks away from my fiance's interview at the consulate and found a potential issue. She was reviewing the copy of the 1-129F i sent her for the interview and found that under Part 2 item 4, I listed the wrong city as her birth city.

Anyone have any experiences with amending information on a 1-129F at this stage? or is it even worth clarifying? Is this something she can take care of at the consulate? Will they even care about such a minor detail?

Hi!

If she has interview scheduled, she needs to fill in the necessary form/s for the interview with the correct info and bring an updated I-129F with her. I think she she lets the woman that will collect her documents at the Embassy know about the issue, it shouldn't be a problem. She also could call to ustraveldocs help line and try finding it out herself.
