Will I get an RFE for I-864?

My husband, the US citizen, included a copy of his most recent tax return and wrote down the previous 3 years, however for the annual income, he didn't include any evidence, he just wrote down the number which is over the poverty limit. I've seen loads of people on here include evidence of their annual income in their form. I swear in the instructions it said you don't have to include evidence unless you are told to. I'm assuming this means an RFE? Were we supposed to include evidence?

12/13/2013 - Day 0 - Sent off I-130 and I-485 and I-765 to Chicago

12/16/2013 - Day 3 - AOS Packet arrived in Chicago according to USPS

12/20/2013 - Day 7 - Received e-notification to say case has been accepted and processing at the USCIS National Benefits Center.

12/24/2013 - Day 11 - Received official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) in the mail.

12/31/2013 - Day 18 - Received letter for biometrics appointment on January 23rd.

01/13/2014 - Day 31 - Received RFE for form I-864

01/23/2014 - Day 41 - Biometrics done!

03/04/2014 - Day 81 - RFE response sent!

03/06/2014 - Day 83 - RFE response arrived there!

03/20/2014 - Day 97 - EAD card in production!

03/26/2014 - Day 103 - EAD card mailed out!

03/26/2014 - Day 103 - EAD card in USPS possession and given tracking number

03/26/2014 - Day 103 - Green card interview being scheduled! :D

03/30/2014 - Day 107 - USCIS mailed out our interview notice, scheduled for May 6th!

03/31/2014 - Day 108 - Received I-765 EAD work permit in the mail!

04/01/2014 - Day 109 - Received appointment for GC

05/06/2014 - Day 145 - GC interview approved!!!

It says to send most recent tax year return(some countries require 3 years)when filing the i864 and it is recommended to send proof of current income. You may or may not get an RFE. If you don't get an RFE I would bring proof of current income to the interview to avoid getting a 221g requesting proof of said income , the final decision to approve the i864 is up to the consulate officer. Oh okay, thanks! I hope it doesn't slow down the process if we get one.

If it does it will only be by a few days, the NVC is pretty quick processing rfe's. They check to make sure everything is in order with the affidavit of support, but the consulate officer makes the ultimate decision. Just make sure if you don't get an RFE from the NVC to bring the supporting evidence to the interview to avoid a delay in case the CO wants to see the proof.

Agree with @mimolicious...suggest you take copies of the current and prior three years tax transcripts (free from the IRS) as support, so as to avoid any further delays in the event income is questioned. Probably not likely...but why not be safe? For what it's worth my wife is taking all of this with her even though it's already been provided and accepted...again, just in case. She is also taking copies of recent pay stubs and my employment letter.
