next time you decide to "rescue" the kitty can you do two things for me?

1. film it

Just as an FYI, if you really want to get her to the vet they make very humane cat traps designed by people who take feral cats in for spaying. She'd most likely be really annoyed with you for a few days, but the season kittens are made is quickly approaching.

No, I've never done this. Used to work with a woman who was officially cat crazy.

If she's already in her bed and belly up shouldn't be too tough taking her to the vet, right? I would just use a basket (I used to put my cats in a picnic basket) to take her to the vet. She might be angry for a while when you get her back home but cats are forgiving.

Ajames, that's better than my Fly, he always sleeps on our heads, he flops himself right on top of our head until we make space for him to sleep on the pillow, it's nice in the winter though 'cus his warm belly is against our head. :P

Laura...she was only in that bed cos I put some dry cat food on it...lol, I wanted a piccie of her in her new pad...but she hasn't warmed to it. It's actually a cube that converts to a bed...it was really cold the other night, and I wasn't sure if she'd stay warm. So I bought that bed for her, and now it warmed up, lol

I tried picking her up just to set her on my lap and she wasn't havin any of it.

The problem tho, as she's female...is that I'm told she's going to need several days of r&r in order to not bust a stitch from surgery. I have nowhere indoors that she can stay....I am actually highly allergic to cats so she can't come in :( So I guess i need to call around and start pricing a kennel or summat for a few days but I'm sure that's gonna cost some dosh. :cry:

Anyways, the lil stinker is out on the lash i guess....she's nowhere on the porch tonite. I swear if she goes up one more tree I'mma scream

You're gonna get her fixed? Ok, I did that to my female cats and we didn't need to leave her many days still, no, just the day of the surgery, 'cus she'll be drugged and lost, but after my cats were just fine to go about, although it'd be better to keep Mimi OFF her trees. :lol:

Glad the cat has found a new mom!! Yes whiskas would be considered onthe low scale of quality. Pretty much anything you can find at a grocery store is low to mid range. Big name pet stores will have some higher quality feed. Too get the real high quality feed like a fellidae, one usually has to goto a smaller pet store or order online. I know fellidae is a high quality cat food, there are many others. Iams is a good mid range quality food which can be found everywhere. Best f luck on ur cat endevours

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1
