Aww thanks guys...but I'm not doing anything anyone else wouldn't cos she's just so damn cute.

MIMIWATCH2007

So I'm sittin on the porch and I'm like 'hrmm, it's dinnertime where is she?' so I call for her. She doesn't come so I think 'no big deal' she's eatin out, lol...so I sit down on the patio and light a cig.

The view from where I sit is directly to the back of my parents' grounds. I can see my dad's new boat & my last car (I need to get around to selling it, lol)....but what do I see in the windshield of my dad's boat? MIMI. I dunno how big his boat is but I do know it's his latest new toy that he's really 'kiddish' about. Like 'THAT'S MY BOAT!' It's a hard top Cris Craft (sp?) and the back is all closed off with the snap on cover. So how the hell did she get INSIDE? Ok whatever, but now I'm like 'omG if my dad sees her in that boat, he's gonna flip' So I'm lookin at her and she's walkin all along the dashboard and meowing. Like 'hey lets go for a ride!'

Lemme tell you about my dad. Former Marine Corp (I know, once a Marine always a Marine, but you know what I mean), very picky, very 'Lord of his Manor' type. For instance, when I was 19 I was still at home whilst going to uni. He was tellin me 'clean your room' cos you know how 19 year old girls are....clothes all over, etc. Nowt filthy, but not up to his standard. One day, I come home from uni and MY WHOLE ROOM'S CONTENTS ARE OUTSIDE. Like the bed, tv, all my clothes, everything. I was like '#######?' and he said 'the next time it goes in the trash. Consider that your only warning' So yeah, that's my dad. And no, my room was never messy again, lol.

He HATES cats. Says they're horrible creatures. When Mimi started comin round, he kept tellin me that she was gonna pee all over and it was gonna stink up the grounds. We had issues with random cats walking across our cars at night, and he'd always be pissed off like 'these effing cats' so now the cars that stay outside are covered at night.

Anyways, yeah...he's bossy, and hates cats.

I had to go get her out of there before he caught her. Cos omG I can't even tell you how bad he'd flip. The windows to the boat were closed, the back bit as I said was all closed off, so I really don't understand how she got in there in the first place.

I pray she doesn't go back in there or else they'll be REAL trouble, lol. And omG if she peed in there, we're both toast

Lisa.

Cats are ingenious buggers. I had a mama kitty and her 4 kittens living under my deck this summer. One day, I came home and they'd all gone. :( About 2 hours later, I hear distinct meowing - from UNDER my house. My friend got her out from under the house in about 30 mins, but I spent the better part of 4 hours more trying to corral her to the garage (so I could at least get a decent night's sleep - she would screech and cry the minute I left her outside on her own). Finally, either mama or papa kitty showed up, meowed at her once, and off they went. I've not seen her since.

To this day, none of us have any clue how that kitten got under my house. We dubbed her 'Houdini'; my deck is attached to the outside of my house, with the entrance to the crawlspace some 15 feet away (and sealed tight). Even my dad crawled halfway under there, flashlight in hand, and could not see any sort of hole. But, he put new lattice work around there anyway - now its sealed up like Ft. Knox.

All thanks to Houdini.

It is mundane only in the sense that nothing surprises me anymore with a cat. Houdini or Mimi and that boat - not surprised at all.

Maybe you scared her when you yelled at her - hence the wet lounge chair? :D

We had one cat - TJ - who LOVED our neighbor's outdoor cat, conveniently named 'Mr. Cat.' If we spotted Mr. Cat outside, all we'd have to say was, "TJ! Mr. Cat!" and TJ would FLY to the nearest window to see his 'friend' pass by. :)
