need help please….

We are currently engaged in long vacation when my aunt received a letter coming from USCIS. The letter content my biometrics appointment on the 24th Dec. 2013 at local ASC. Unfortunately attending that will be kinda hassle to me since we are out of the country. Good thing there is a section wherein you can reschedule it. All we have to do is to write an explanation letter along with the original appoitnement letter and send it to BPU, Alexandria ASC, Suite 100, 8850 Richmond HWY, Alexandria, VA 22309-1586 and another copy to Service Center where I file my I-751 application (which is on Laguna Niguel, CA).

I stated on my letter to make another arrangement on January 22, 2014 if possible since we are on long vacation right now. We sent the letters by mail to 2 different addresses to notify them about my situation.

Aftter a week, my aunt informed me that the copy of my letter which was sent to Laguna Niguel had returned to my address on Ontario California. Tried to call the 1-800 number but can't get trhough the live representative. On top of that my sister in law, also informed me that I have another letter which was sent this time on my old address, it content my I-751 RECEIPT LETTER stating that my visa status has been extended for a year.

Now my question is, does my original request to reschedule my biometrics has been granted by any chance? Since my letter to BPU in VA did not bounce back as of this moment? Another question: Should I also include on my rescheduled request the receipt letter? Why Laguna Niguel Service Center returned my mail?

Since I am panicked mode right now. I decided to to purchased a returned ticket dated 23rd Dec. 2013 to attend instead on the original Biometric schedule. Now my Aunt reprimanding me for making abrupt and might be wrong decision, since I already requested earlier to rescheduled the date. I know I wasted money and energy here. But can't help it, I don't want to terminate my rights to return to US or porfeit my Visa, most specially since the customer service they provided were unreachables.
