Timeline

I filed for my fiance in October and they mailed a request of evidence which we will submit on Monday how long does it take to be approved and how long do I have to wait to for my fiance to get his interview package?

Timeline

it can take up to 60 days (sometimes 90 days) for USCIS to review your evidence.... after that comes the approval and then forward to NVC and then to the embassy then you can get your appt.... so you are probably looking at up to 3-4 months (hopefully sooner) for everything...

Received at lockbox in Texas: 8/26/13

Text/Email Received: 8/29/13

Case at: TSC

NOA1 Received: 9/3/2013

Alien number changed: 9/18/2013

No RFE!

Petition Approved: 11/25/2013

Petition sent to the NVC: 12/12/13

Obtained case number: 12/19/2013

Petition sent to the consulate: 12/23/2013

Interview: 01/10/2014

I had to send evidence as well. After they received it they goy my NOA2 back to me approved pretty quickly like 2 weeks or so. Its the time after that seems like it is dragging to me. I got my Petition for Fiancee I 129 approved on Nov 6th, So I wait and wait and wait....

Usual trend that i noticed here is the petition gets approved in 2-4 weeks after RFE received by the service center.
