I am not sure about that. I mean consider what you are suggesting. Traveling to Canada to pay money to have sex with a Canadian prostitute? I don't see it. Especially not when our $ is PAR with the CDN $. Are the oil rich sheiks in Dubai packing their clubs with Canadian prostitutes? Did Ghadafi have 12 Canadian nurses? I mean, they HAVE nurses in Canada, why did he not choose them? Uh-huh, uh huh?

For me it is not about some imaginary market for Canadian prostitutes among non-Canadians, but about FREEDOM. I would like to see our country strike down laws which prevent a woman from choosing her own profession. Quebec should definitely stick to Maple Syrup for its strateguc reserve...even Ukrainians love that stuff!

I agree with you! I am all about protecting sex workers. OSHA for sex workers! Hard hats, harnesses, fall restraints, OH YEAH! Tool belts even!

I doubt most prostitutes choose prostitution as a career. I don't think prostitution should be a criminal offense by any means, but it's not about the freedom of women to choose prostitution as a career. . That anyone thinks that it might be...well enough said.

One also wonders what on earth certain posters know about sex workers if they feel that only certain nationalities of women 'fit the bill'. Another wacky notion that has no basis in reality.

Of course! RUB women are in demand for that everywhere! It WAS Ukrainian nurses that Ghadafi had. Not Canadian. But it is not about nationality fitting the bill or anything...no, that would be...well, enough said.

Men have every right to rent themselves out for brutal sports which destroy their bodies, but women are not allowed to rent their bodies for sex. They CAN give away their bodies for sex. For Free. A large percentage of women (and men) do jobs which they do not like or do not WANT or do not even "choose" in the sense of a true choice. Would a high school drop out choose a better job than shingling roofs if he could? Would 95% of Nurses Aids choose a better job if they had the money to go to school?

No, my posts quite definitely didn't say or suggest anything like that.

The reason you have responded in this way is because you do not have a valid response to the actual things I did say. Real choice for women is based on economic freedom. If women always had economic freedom, the number of women who chose prostitution as a career would leave some men with a serious problem. Only a bigot would imagine that women dream of selling their bodies for sex as a real career choice.
