Hi

I am applying for b2 visa for the second time, the first time it was rejected I'm not sure why here is my situation .... I want to visit us for a vacation and my husband is there for a 3 month training I will be staying with him at Connecticut and we will return back together, I work and I have a 9 month baby the first time I was only asked about a copy of my husbands passport and visa but I only had the passport and I was asked about my the duration my husband will stay there.

This time I prepared a letter from my husbands work and his visa and I have a letter from my work please advice if this is enough or not and what is my chance of getting the visa.

Thanks

You left out some info such as what country you are talking about. Your husband is a citizen of what country?

The denial was probably due to the lack of indicated ties to your country. If you don't improve the ability to demonstrate those ties you will be denied again.

This time you have a better chance I think.

The letter and a copy of his visa can be used to show how long HE will be there if he does what he is supposed to do.

The B 2 will be issued to you so you have to prove beyond doubt you MUST return.

How long do you plan on staying? What will you do with the baby while you are gone for that long?

Your work letter indicates they know you are going and they expect you back by what date?

Do you own property there?

My husband is Egyptian and he has b1/b2 visa I'm planning to stay there for 2 weeks and I will take my baby with me after these two weeks me and my husband will return back together as by then he will be done with his assignment there the question is how can I prove strong ties to my country I have all the required documents but what if the officer didn't ask to see any of them, as last time he only asked my about the duration of my husband stay and what kind of assignment is he doing there, but he didn't ask me about my work or my bank statement please advice I'm very nervous because this is the last change for me and can I show my husbands work letter even if the officer didn't ask me to see it

The fact that you are talking about Egypt makes this easier to understand you will not be granted a B 2 trying to take a baby with you will ensure you wont be granted the visa Egypt is a high fraud country where any visa is very difficult to obtain your husband got lucky because he was able to show reason to go and come back you trying to enter the USA with a baby while he is there will never work the only way to really know is to pay the fee and try let us know how it turns out
