unable to save page correctly in Chrome

The time I have online is limited and thus try to save important pages from the site to refer back to however they will not save correctly. I end up with pages blacked out with only a narrow strip at the bottom of the page which is readable. I have not run into this problem on any other website.. Any solutions ? This is really annoying. Thanks

I'm on Chrome and not having the same problem. Are you talking about bookmarking a page?

No Krikit, I am talking about saving a page to view off line. This only happens when I am saving a forum page.

I'm not sure what you're doing - are you using File > Save Page As... ? That's often a crappy way to save a webpage to your system, since all that is doing is downloading the html, but not the associated assets (so it'll look all broken).

Best way to save a page offline is to "print" it to a file. Do File > Print then change the printer destination to "Save as PDF". That way it'll be just like you printed it to paper but on your computer.
