Anyone made it to NVC yet? I'm just trying to figure out when was the last time Texas sent approved package to NVC.

I'm currently stuck between USCIS and NVC.

NOA2 date is November 8.

Last upadte from Texas was 12/09 - "Currently in the staging area to be sent. The case should be forwarded within a week."

IR-1 / CR-1 Visa

10-24-2013 - Transferred to Texas Service Center

10-29-2013 - Now being processed

11-08-2013 - NOA2

12-26-2013 - USCIS shipped case to the Department of State

I had an email from the TSC that said:

Day 104 03-02-2018 Notified Interview Letter Sent.

Day 151 04-18-2018 Interview at Fort Smith, AR 

Day 174 05-11-2018 Oath Ceremony at Fort Smith USCIS.

That's not entirely fair. I mean, it probably takes them just as long to ship out a fiance visa as a spouse visa.

Texas is notoriously slow for sending out petitions. You'll have to give them the full 8 weeks before anyone can do anything. After that get your congressman involved.

Wow Nov 8th approval and your case is still in Texas! Clearly the worst service center ever! I guess there's no need to rush in gathering all of the paperwork. I'm stuck there too.

Where did you get this update? You called them or received an email? On the approval notice it says "we have sent the original visa petition to the Department of State National Visa Center (NVC)."

Does yours say that too?

Does yours say that too?

The approval say that.

But I got the update by asking for a referral. They will give you a referral id with this format "WKD0123456789TSC". And since the case is already approved ask them to expedite, they will either email or send you a letter to let you know what exactly is going on with the case.
