REQUESTED FOR PASSPORT

The consulate emailed me that they are done with AP that I redo the medical and send the passport, but to my surprise it has taken about 2 weeks with my passport and the CEAC website is still showing AP. I am worried, are they doing another AP or they have gone for Christmas break already?

Second thing, I was denied a visa for canada and norway some years back, could that affect my current visa application?

When visa is issue it will say that, while processing that is still called AP

Norway & Canada have nothing to do with the USA visa process unless

you had live there over 6 months and you haven't, so no swea,t you now wait.

Your past visa denials have nothing to do with your current application! I am certain they are due to release your passport with your approved visa sticker ! updating the CEAC website takes quite some time! I should say congrats coz the good news is on the way anytime
