Hello,

My fiance's case has been pending AP for 7 months now. Just recently I was curious if they do decide to issue a Visa, how does it work with DHL and mailing it back to a location? Will the embassy automatically send it out or should a obtain a prepaid envelope? And the timeframe for that?

I am not sure my husband's case has been pending in AP since May 2012 in Naples. Your fiancee will probably need to do the medical exam again because it has been more than 6 months so it may be possible to drop of the passport in the morning and get it stamped and pick it up later that day. I am not sure though. Sorry I could not be more helpful.

We were in ap for 3 months. They send you an email letting you know they are issuing the visa and send the passport through dhl. Takes about five days to get to the location closest to you. This is the new system started in july.

What do you mean by location "closest to you?"

Well when we paid for the visa we had to choose where we wanted the visa to be delivered (dhl center). We chose the one that was closest to us since my fiance lived far from napoli. You could also pay extra to have it delivered to your home.
