Divorced; Petitioning again

After getting divorced in November to a woman I married after a K-1 visa, I am happily engaged again and we are wanting to file a K-1 visa. There isn't any wait time to get remarried after a divorce in my state but how long should we really wait to file with receiving less immigration scrutiny? I spoke with an immigration officer and he seemed to think it didn't matter a whole lot, but mentioned waiting 3 months after the divorce would be best. My fiance thinks maybe we should wait longer to file but I really want to get things in motion.

I agree to wait a little bit longer (maybe 4-5 months). I know you want to start your life with your new love but petitioning for someone else after just being divorced doesn't look good. It is possible they might think you are using K1 to help others immigrate to US.

Doesn't matter.
