I made an infopass for Orlando

Just some background, we had our intial interview and they requested some more info. Btw, none of this info was on the checklist. We submitted this on the 4th of December and we have proof of delivery on the 5th of December.

So I made an infopass at the Orlando office, after no word from Orlando. I just don't want to anger the officers at Orlando, just in case we misunderstood that we were supposed to come in and get a stamp in my husband's passport. I don't know why she doesn't just order the card. We don't really need a stamp for anything as far as I know. I also don't want it to go on too long because I don't want our information we sent in to get lost.

Should I wait until after the holidays? Any advice? We have a local friend who had the same thing happen and they received their green card about one month after they submitted the requested information.

Did they give you a time period it would take after receiving the additional evidence?

With my naturalization interview, they requested additional evidence. I had it to them the next day. I was told I could expect a response within 60 days. After I hadn't heard anything for 60 days I made an Infopass appointment... and received my oath date letter in the mail about 3 days later.

It might be worth waiting a little longer because of the holidays, but if they didn't give you any sort of timeframe, I don't think they will hold it against you.

She said we just had to turn it in within 78 days, by February 7th I think it is. Which we did. She said as soon as we turned it in, we should come back and get our stamp. I asked her if we should make an appointment and she said yes. We would have made one sooner but we were out of town until last week.

Actually I figured out what I was trying to ask. This whole process has made me a blithering idiot. I am fine and I just got the approval notice and it says to come in and get a stamp in his passport if we want to.
