OMG dr lha...after reading those *I* never want to fly again!!!! :o I guess I don't get petrified, but I feel tense the entire time...I can relax a bit if the flight is SUPER smooth, but the minute we hit any type of turbulence, I tense up... a lot. When I went to England to visit Craig after he spent the summer here, we hit some pretty good turbulence for about 1/2 hr. about 2 hrs out of England....I remember I kept wiping my hands on my jeans because they were *so* damp from nervousness!

That quick descent you talked about would be my total nightmare on a plane...I would just be thinking...what if they can't come out of the descent,etc....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. :o:lol:

I worked for an airline for 2 years and took plenty of short flights for training, etc. during that time...even some fun little trips..I don't mind 1/2 hour flights so much either..but when I know I'm STUCK there for a long time, I just freak. Anxiety disorder doesn't help either..... yipes! Don't tell any more of *your* stories please!!! j/k ;) M.

Its true there is such a thing transporting snakes on a plane. I watched a program on the discovery channel a few weeks back. I forget what they were called animal cops or some ###### lol they inspect crates that the animals are being stored in like they were inspecting some rare poisonus snakes i think they were cobras or some other kind of snakes cant remember the show now lol been so long lol.

I hate flying since my flight with Cathay Pacific from Hongkong to Surabaya on 2004. Terrible..terrible turbulences, lasted for an hour because we were trapped in a storm. The Airplane felt like it was made out of a shred of paper...it did not just shake from side to side or up and down but it actually swung a few metres to the sides because of the strong wind, and it lost its height many times.....it was scary...not to mention everyone was screaming and calling God's name....damn.

Several jetliners crashed in Indonesia in within these last 3-4 months also.... Scary... I've been flying to and from the capital city for the Visa process and all the time I was so tense, though it was only a 1 hour flight. But I'm gonna fly again, since it's the only way to finally be with my Man!!! I gotta brave it all.....Ah geez......

I don't mind flying. I have to admit, there is something unnerving about being several miles above the ground, but I just try to distract myself with something else.

I am a bit scared of flying next week. Not because of being in the air, rather, I have to travel alone with my newly one year old daughter. I am praying to every god there is that she does not go apeshit on the flights. In December, she slept through most of them and was charming the rest of the time. I can only hope for a repeat performance. I apologize in advance anyway.

The toilets either overflowing or not working.....worse case for me!

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Fireworks don't go that high up in the air though. it would have to be during takeoff or landing no? I'm sure they'd see them... I'll ask hubby about the "feeling" bit.

Well at our fireworks a plane looked like it flew right through them and all I could think of is how much I'd be freakin' if I saw that through my window!
