Hello everyone maybe this good piece of information for the people who are waiting for the USCIS to send the case to NVC. today I have received a case status from USCIS stating that they have sent it to the NVC. I hope this is good information for the people who are waiting still. Just keep checking your status online

It seems NVC is processing petitions approved around 11/25 from CSC so I imagine you will hear from them within the next 1-2 weeks. Just hang in there a little bit more. Bulk time of your wait is over

Day 104 03-02-2018 Notified Interview Letter Sent.

Day 151 04-18-2018 Interview at Fort Smith, AR 

Day 174 05-11-2018 Oath Ceremony at Fort Smith USCIS.

Do you guys know how long it takes for the NVC to ship the case files to the embassy? :) We also got our case number yesterday!

Naturalization Journey: 

 - January 25th, 2019 - Filed N400 form online [Seattle,WA office]

 - January 25th, 2019 - NOA1

 - January 26th, 2019 - Priority Date

 - February 2nd, 2019 - Biometrics appointment scheduled

 - February 20th, 2019 - Biometrics appointment

 - June 7th, 2019 - Case Transfered [somewhere] Estimated completition time Dec 2019 (4 months) 

 ** July 24th, 2019 - Checked websites Estimated completition time Aug 2019 [???] (1 month) 

- August 29th, 2019 - Interview Scheduled! [October 7th, 2019 in Portland, OR]

- October 7th, 2019 - Interview [Approved!] Scheduled for same day Oath which was later cancelled... 

- October 25th, 2019 - Oath Ceremony Scheduled 

- November 6th, 2019 - Oath Ceremony [in Portland, OR]

Can u tell how do u get case numbers from NVC? or how do they contact you? How do u know from USCIS that ur case was sent to NVC?

11-07-2013 - I-129F form sent ---> 11-15-2013 - NOA1 - e-mail received, transferred to California Service Center.

11-20-2013 - Alien registration number changed.

11-22-2013 - NOA1 hardcopy (I-797C)

12-13-2013 - NOA2 approval notification ---> 12-20-2013 - NOA2 hardcopy

01-08-2014 - NVC recieved ---->01-09-2014 - NVC left

01-13-2014 - Consulate recieved ----> 01-14-2014 - E-mail from the Consulate

01-16-2014 - NVC letter hardcopy ----> 01-23-2014- Medical done

02-18-2014- Interview (Approved) ----> 02-20-2014- Visa issued ----> 02-24-2014- Visa in hand

You call NVC (1-603-334-0700) or DOS (1-202-485-7600) and ask if your files are there and if they already assigned a case number for you.

You can also email them, include beneficiary and petitioners full names and birthdates, also include a scan of your NOA2. But they will only respond with your case number once it is available

- NVCResearch@state.gov or NVCInquiry@state.gov

You will only know when USCIS really sent your papers once NVC gets them. You ask NVC when it was sent.

How do they usually take to answer to e-mails? Or do they reply at all?
I sent one on the 21st and I guess I won't be hearing a thing until January at this point... seeing how there's so many holidays in this period of the year.

I just have a msg that case has been approved on 18 DEC 2013

Some people receive mail that lets them know the petition was transferred to NVC. But us processed by California SVC Center didn't get any. Congratulations on getting approved. Call NVC after 2 weeks of your approval date and see if your case number is already assigned.

They do reply, either to tell you they haven't received your case or they will respond that the processing of your petition has been completed and they give the case number to you. But they only usually reply once they have your petition. Their responses to me were around 7-14 days after I sent my emails.

It all depends on what service center, mine was NBC approved Nov 22(also stating it was shipped to NVC). However it took until Dec 5th to actually mailing it after checking with tier 2 supervisor. NVC got it on the 10th and got my case number on the 20th of Dec. Now just waiting for approval

Our case file arrived to the embassy on the 23rd (according to DHL). Our status on the CEAC website still says in transit. I am guessing it is going to be a slow few days because of the holidays. We probably won't here any updates or know our interview date until early next year.

Oh well.... patience U_U
