Yay! I just got some update from an fb friend who got their NOA 2 last Dec. 6 and they got an e-mail from NVC!

Here's the content:

"The NVC recently received this petition. The appropriate agent (applicant, petitioner, or attorney) will receive instructions for the further processing of this petition within 6 to 8 weeks."

I am so glad that we finally see some progress here. All the best for us. Happy New Year to all and God bless

Hi I envy you, until now we didn't received our NAO2 hard copy atty eric try to find out why but...hmmmm. Anyway Congrats God Bless You...I hope I could hear some good news this week.

I got my approval Nov 21, NVC received the petition about 10 days ago. I call every few days to check if case #, nope. I was living in the area affected by the Typhoon and earthquake with my wife and was expedited, I actually believe this slowed my progress since I was due about a week later according to the statistics. I just arrived back in the states alone....I was expecting to have Thanksgiving with my wife and son here in my home. I am very disappointed with the process, and to top that off I used a visa service with an office across the street from USEM. I could have walked over and filed the DCF and had her back here in June....grrr.

Happy New year, gotta keep upbeat if I can.

Im so sorry to hear that i hope u get ur case# soon..where did u get approved? Was ur case transferred from nbc?

Yes NBC to Nebraska xfer. I will call daily till I get a case #.

Called nvc a few minutes ago and was surprised i got to talk to a rep right away, didnt have to wait and listen to the recording.. Anyways, they received my case on dec30 and rep told me to wait 10-20 business days for case#.
