Hello everyone,

I'm new here and am trying to get my fiancee's K1 visa app in the mail. However, I think I may have gotten it all wrong. Ugh!

I'm in Mississippi and he is in Australia. I know that we will need to file the 129F petition first but do I send in MY info and HIS info at first? He has sent me his stuff - birth certificate, divorce certificate, petition, letter of intent, bio form, etc. However, from what I'm understanding now, I will need to send it all in for MYSELF first and then his later. What is right here and when is the payment due?

Any help for me? Thanks! :help:

You send the information for both of you in with the I-129F petition. All the documents can be photocopies (you will need the originals later for the interview). You must send the original signed G-325A's, not photocopies.

All the instructions are on the USCIS website along with the Form I-129F.

Apr. 6/05... DS-230, Part I faxed to Vancouver Consulate

May 26/05... K-2 Interview - APPROVED!!!!

Sept. 5/05... Entered U.S.

Sept. 7/05... I-485 & I-131 sent to CLB

Feb. 22/06... AOS Interview - APPROVED!!!!! (Passport NOT stamped)

Dec. 4/07... I-751 sent to NSC

May 23/08... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Mar. 22/11.... N-400 sent to AZ

June 27/11..... Interview - PASSED!!!

July 12/11..... Oath Ceremony

Question: On the Fiance Letter of Intent, what embassy do I put? The US embassy or the Australia embassy? I'm very confused here...

Why are you putting an embassy? You are sending the statement of intent to the USCIS as part of your I-129f petition, correct? (And if you write the statement in statement format, no address at all is necessary.)
