The 5th online only couple is so boring, she still hasn't come to the US, in fact in the last episode she dissapeared for over 1.5 weeks and he doesn't know why.

There are some shows that I watch specifically to turn off my brain at the end of the week. I hate to admit that this is one of them. I dunno...... I feel... compelled to watch it. Like a train wreck.

But, the renewal surprise can be said for many of the programs that TLC (Remember when they were actually called The Learning Channel?) airs.

I find it strange and irritating that from their casting call, they only want USC men and foreign women. If you notice their sign up page linked above, the man is assumed to be a USC, as there is no room for foreign address and no country box.

This really is the "mail order bride" show.

AOS for my husband

BTW, talk about inappropriate adverts! Curiosity (damned!) lead me to the TLC forum for the show. The side ad - dunno what it's called in computer terms - was a link to mail order brides! A site called youloveme or something to that effect. At first glance, I thought the ad was the potential candidates for next season, but then I thought that they are all very beautiful and Russian looking (some wearing traditional Russian clothing). Ugh, TLC has hit a new low.

I agree and noticed this as well. The show makes me sick. They should feel privileged they actually received a K1. I can't watch the show--- it makes me very angry and frustrated but those are just personal issues I suppose!

concur. No couture for her. Or find a used one in a charity resale shop.

Glad you noticed !

I caught a few moments of it last night, and switched back to the Olympics.

I canna handle more than a few moments of it, or I start cursing at the TV and throwing my dry-erase markers about the room. Usually, this is OK, but not last night, as Mrs. D is trying to get to bed early this week with the timezone jumps.
