Hi

I filed my I-485 and I-131 at the chicago lockbox. receipts dated Nov 22. When i filled the I-131 i wrote a letter requesting expedited service along with fee etc. i haven't heard anything from them as of yet.

I want to expedite again, Do i send expedited letter again to chicago lockbox where my application is ?? or do i infopass and go to my local new york district office ?? I've also read people be faxing to nebraska can i fax it to them instead ??

I know currently they are still behind by 3 months but i need to leave country end of Jan.

Please can anyone help, i'm confused

There is no way to expedite the AP. Any letter your wrote will be ignored, your AP will be processed in the order it was recieved, so you should get it around 60-80 days after your NOA1 date.

There is no way to expidite an application for AP.... if you have a life or death emergancy you can file for an emergancy AP at your local office.... you will need to take evidence of the emergancy ie. letter/fax from a doctor, letter/fax from a funeral Home...

Good Luck

If that is the case, can you just get the necessary documentation and go to the local office with the I-131? Do you still have to send it to Chicago to get a multiple AP?

Thanks

Hi just to let everyone know,

i went to local office with my information of why i needed expedited advance parole, waited for a while and got it same day. If anyone needs to leave country on advance parole and need it straight away i would book a infopass appointment at local office turn up and they will issue it to you, providing all information on there computers are up to date etc, i had already applied for mine back in nov so i took my receipt with me,, only thing extra they ask is 2 more passport photos.

good luck
