Dude ! find out when the Korean Churches have their rummage sales, you can get a rice vault for 2 to 3 dollars. These hold 25 to 100 kilograms of rice, and have a dispenser at the bottom. No way for kritters and krawlers to get inside it.

This presumes that I want to eat even a fraction of this much rice, Bro D, or that I want there to be that potential. Why can't people cook civilized carbohydrates, like pasta, huh man?

I have an idea. Stop helping people in that part of the forum, and see how long it takes for people to ask for your wisdom again. They'll practically be begging for you to come back and help. And if not, well someone else may step up and then you can take a well-earned break.

This might work, but a LOT of truly bad information or unnecessary argument would occur in the meantime -- not helpful or instructive to the newbies, no man. I recommend that we grit our teeth and continue to contribute, si man.

It's a pretty short conversation. I'm pretty much begging him to not be like his 2 yr old sister. She had horrible reflux and is considered a high needs baby/toddler. Such as she NEEDS everything to do with mommy, very sensitive child and bouncing off the walls type of energy.

1. Oh yes the truck is always a good spot to sleep. 10 mins of sleep in the truck gives her enough energy to last till 1 in the morning.

1. Five years, whee man. Initially, she, Papa-Mrs.-T-B., & #5-Sister-Mrs.-T-B. took a 14-hour bus ride to Quito for the tourist-visa interview and were summarily dismissed after two minutes with a snooty "Well, why don't you visit another country first, and then perhaps come back." I was enraged and mortified. However, they visited Peru briefly, and Mama-Mrs.-T-B. returned on her own and got the visa with no problem. Later, Papa-Mrs.-T-B. and #5-Sister-Mrs.-T-B. went back together and each got visas, I presume for the same duration.

2. Mrs. T-B. rarely burns stuff now that she has her fancy KitchenAid glass cooktop. Previously, she would burn stuff and leave it in the bottom of the pot, on the stove, for me to find when trying to locate dishwarshing items. Despite hot-water soaking and vigorous scrubbing, the stuff never came out. She merely cooks new rice on top of that vulcanized layer, sigh man. The problem is cooking rice in the first place, grrr man -- what about a first-world food like pasta, huh man?
