My mother is all pissy about something today and I get to bare the brunt of it, yet again. Yippee.

This moving in with my mother was a terrible terrible idea.

I've come to find that living with family is generally a bsd idea. I've been skipping between living with my mom snd dad for the past six months and have found them both intolerable for different reasons. Hope you get out of there soon!

Happy new year! What are your resolutions?

Hubby and I made a list of resolutions as a couple, and then personal ones. :) mine include get into better shape, find a new job, and complain less. Plus try to further my language skills, aside from Spanish and English. Should keep me busy!

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.

reminds me of when i was in uni and there was a food thief cleaning out our fridge in the dorm. someone stuck an empty bottle of laxatives on the fridge with the ominous warning of "you'll never know where!"

So my husband was trying to convince me to get rid of my Remington Nylon 66 because it wasn't good for killing any big animals. rolleyes.gif You'd think everyone in Denmark had shotguns and the such, for goodness sake you can't even carry anything larger than a pocket knife out in public.

My husband has decided he needs an AR. Prolly something like an M4. Not sure why... we have a hunting rifle he doesn't hunt with and a pistol for "protection." I told him he was only allowed an AR if he also bought a gun case for it to go into, mostly because I'm scared if someone ever DOES break in, they'll go in a killing spree with our stolen guns. >.< This is Colorado... it could happen.

(I grew up with guns, my dad had many rifles, still goes hunting with traps, rifles and bows, and he also used to have handguns before they were too difficult to own. He made his own bullets in the basement and we used to frequent a gun store in my old hometown to see what was new. So I'm not against guns at all, just at keeping them unsafely locked up. Really I hit my limit at the 1911 loaded beside the bed.... )

So if I call him a raccoon will he know what I'm saying or can I use this freely?

I dunno - here's the definition that I know, taken from Duck Dynasty recently.

A raccoon does 2 things when it comes to a new place. Only 2 things. What it doesn't tear up, it sh|ts on.

You know....for a NYC guy, I have a decent collection of firearms. All licensed of course.....

Who cleans the bowls then?

10mpg... at least I only drive 10 mins each way for work. Then again the jeep gets about 14. I was hoping for something closer to 35 or 40.

Well, at first my husband thought it was a terrible idea having guns in the house and now he wants this one and that one, etc. Where we live now (except for the house that is soon to be sold) and where we are moving, our property is not big enough to safely discharge a gun. So, then you've got to find somewhere to use it.

Also, now he keeps bothering me about a handgun - which is a no. I've had one and I think they are dangerous to have in a house with children. My daughter doesn't seem to have the same fear of us as I had of my dad's wrath if I ever touched his guns. Hmmph.
