Wok -I have one, but I prefer a traditional pan, even for stir fry. I find the cooking evenness better in a traditional more wide bottomed pan.

1. I'd wager a guess that since they are less inclined to be picky or even notice grammar/pronunciation mistakes, they'd get the gist of what's being said better than a native. Hubby has a Chinese friend from school, and while I can barely make out a word he says, hubby seems to understand him pretty well.

2. Is it awful that I miss rice? Hubby made some last night because I was craving. Oh, karma, you nasty thing!
