Today, Mrs. T-B. & Mrs. Cheap Gringo commiserated in Spanish in regard to the cheapness of gringo husbands.

Ah, the other convo, later in the day, back at T-B's house.

Setting: the lovely couple, sitting the hot tub, candles round the room, 3 bottles of red wine at hand.

Mrs.T-B: Ay, Carino, this is so relaxing!! Thank you for finding this hot tub !

T-B: It was a boon, let me tell you - I found it on CL in the FREE section, and my buddies helped me get it out, move it, and re-install it here. There's a lot of free stuff on CL and Houston FreeCycle !

Mrs.T-B: Ah? Free? No No, this is not Frio, this is caliente ! I like the steam bits! Thank You !

T-B: [muttering into his wineglass] Ah, why did I listen to Darnell about scoring a free hot tub ?

This is one of the funniest lines ever writ on VJ, hee hee man.

Road trip successful. Crammed objecting Mini-Bone into the Mrs. T-B.-mobile, set forth, arrived early, cooled heels, priced new tyres (British spelling) at Sears while waiting, met Cheap Gringo, Mrs. Ecuatoriana wife, and Mama-Mrs.-Ecuatoriana wife; returned to Sears, purchased two new Guardsman Plus tyres for front of Mrs. T-B.-mobile, saved $7 Disposal Fee by promising old tyres to Cheap Gringo; lunched; received completionary call from Sears just as finished last bites, gave old tyres to delighted Cheap Gringo; beat it to Discount Tyre for proper airing of new tyres; went to Kohl's, cooled heels while Ecuatorianas shopped, kept Mini-B. from demanding purchases of toys; finished, went to Goodwill, purchased new pants for half-price; went to other resale store, purchased 2 dress-slacks for .99 each; ate huge fish dinner; managed not to fall asleep on drive back to casa; arrived at casa, prepared tomorrow's garbage pickup, ministered to cat, warshed (Texas spelling) new resale purchases; typed many insightful, incisive VJ posts while falling asleep before computer screen, zzz man; off-logged from VJ in order to prep for & go to bed, zzzzzzzzzz man.

The Guardsman tyre is the best that we have ever owned, si man. Drive-out cost for the tyre job was $152.37, whee man. 'Twas painless and brilliant to have tyre job done in smallish city on a weekday, si man.

So the Dane is upset that the Swede is moving back next week. The Dane is also upset that I've yet to get handfasted to him despite still being handfasted to the Swede. Ooops? Men are drama queens.

Wait you're married to your ex, but you brought the Great Dane here on a CR-1.

Oh, just an ex. I don't want to mention names and all....

We dated from the time I was a wee teen through parts of my marriage (wasn't cheating) and then after, I broke up with him when I met the Dane.

Getting even more confused, dating while married isn't cheating, but handfasted to him.

I think these pagans have found a way to have their cake and eat it to.

The Dane is also sensitive because I am very very "close" with the Swede's sister. Now I'll shut up about my boring life. smile.png

And the sister too? I had no idea Nola was such a swinger.

You have the visa and you're waiting until May? That must be getting darn close to the expiration of the visa and medical.

Hey, I was legally free to marry, no harm no foul. Ou religion is notoriously unclear about these things, so it can be interpreted in the I've broken it when I decided to way, which was a little over 2 years ago.

I had wild younger years and now I'm boring, that kind of stuff is bad for relationships. It isn't a pagan thing, but rather a then and us thing.

And the sister too? I had no idea Nola was such a swinger.

I wouldn't call it that, per se.
