Reading the effects of major family changes and seeing a woman who needs to AOS thru VAWA. She has a temp restraining order on her, and a hearing to make it permanent. Hiring a lawyer she found in a phone book, and wanting to know if she can phone in her testimony. Also can her new fiancee bring her back fast if she gets deported because her VAWA doesn't fly because she has the restraining order on her. headbonk.gifheadbonk.gifheadbonk.gifheadbonk.gif I'm not surprised no one has bothered to reply to her latest questions.

Hello new thread. I have nothing productive to add to the convo but figured I shall say hello. Also, I really miss human beings. Took dogs out and tried not to die on the frozen ground and applied for jobs. I really wish I knew whether I am applying for the right kinds of jobs.

Did not cook anything but had some steamed veggies, white rice and white sauce yesterday. My only warm awesome full meal..I ate it all...couldn't breathe properly half way thru but was determined to eat it. It was awesome. *dreamy sigh*

I guess I had random things to say.

Hubby bought me a pc game I absolutely loved back in the day (its DOS based and now they got it to work on Macs woohoo)....so happy. He finally realized that doing things for me instead of ignoring me completely is a good thing and that I will worship him for the smallest acts of kindness. Wohooooo. *fingers crossed it lasts* Still on my own with everything else though :D

For a while, lots of corporations were moving to the suburbs. Now we seem to have a reverse trend. Companies moving back to the cities to seek talent.

Except Phillip Morris, who said "screw you" to NYC when bloomberg told them they can't smoke in their own bldg.....

I suspect The Hobbit. It's what everyone's watching at the moment. Except me, it seems - I want to go and see it, much like I wanted to go and see certain other films this year, but I don't really have the time nor the money right now.

We are going to the dollar theater, it makes it much more easier on the pocket book.
