Pizza oven !!! Like...the real one ? That you drop the pizza in with a wooden flat thingie ? The awesome kind ?

Pizza is big in the US and Italy, I think. We did not really eat a lot of pizza..if at all, when I was a child. Now it is everywhere but more Czechinized ? (mostly we just smack pork sausages and cheese and cream sauces all over it )

Nah, not like a big wood fired with stone oven. Just a small electric one which really makes good pizza. Much better that your standard over can make. Does a great job cooking up salmon to.

Hope everyone's Christmas went good. Had a great one myself. Only problem was getting up and going to work again today. Why did I not take two days personal time and enjoy being lazy?

I sure do. If you have a Fleet Farm around you, thats where I got mine. I've got the one by Biaggia. You see these in country bars all the time in this part of the country. Forget the Presto one that rotates the pizza on a tray under the heating element, its kind of cool to watch, but doesn't do as good of a job.

Nope.

No kiełbasa at all.

The tradition is that there should be 12 dishes, but in my home there never was so many.

So we have:

- beetroth souper with ear-dumplings

- potato salad

- sauteed carp (it's a fish eaten only in Christmas in Poland )

- dumplings

- compote made from special fruits

Usually I'm full after carp and salad, so I don't eat any dumplings on the Christmas Eve

Noting Asia is full of carp on Christmas.

I wouldn't call it nice, the Christmas bonus here hasn't changed in 30 years, its just worth a whole lot less now. Still an extra hundred never hurts, even it they're being cheap and never increasing it.
