She's Buddhist, what does she need Christmas presents for? I never got my ex-husband Christmas presents, 'cuz he was a Jew.

Tiff has become quite festive and Americanized (the bad aspects). When she first got off the boat, she had never heard of the words "Louis Vuitton"....now they're BBFs.

She even asks questions when I educate the kiddo on Christianity......

I do want to introduce the kid to God. Reason.....The 10 commandments.... a good start.

That's where our Penal Law comes from.....remember?

Not that Buddhism is mutually exclusive of Christianity, but which religion are you primarily raising her?

P.S. We used to go to this Buddhist monastery almost every weekend when we lived in New York - they had a great and cheap lunch on weekends http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuang_Yen_Monastery

the year was 2003.......may be 2004.......

Tiff wanted her first LV for Christmas......

So I took her to the 57th street store in Manhattan. She never bought anything that cost a thousand bucks in her life. So she modestly asked for the smaller Speedy....which is a few hundred bucks.....I asked her if she was sure. She said yes, and so I got it for her. 2 weeks later I saw her with a new larger LV. She didn't want me to spend that much, so she asked for the 500 dollar bag, then exchanged it adding her own $$ to get the one that she really wanted lol

That would be the start of "Making a Malaysian American Princess Fiend " series...........

I'm Lutheran by association and schooling. But I'm not religious. I'm going to introduce her to God, for the fact that there's no denying that Christianity teaches right from wrong as we know it.

That monastery you speak of has some embezzling going on. The places are run down and dilapidated. Somebody is pocketing all the $$

That'll learn ya about gettin an iPhone....

90% of the time I love it, but I think something is wrong with it.

I have to shut it off insurmountable times more than the average user.

In constantly locks up when trying to send pictures or links via text.

Sometimes it pretends to send them, but never actually does.

It always randomly drops calls with no notice, just gone and I'm on some add-new-contact screen.

Just now, I was trying to switch between calls and the screen just went blank totally blank.

I think it's about time I exchanged.

Oh oh. Finally went yesterday to get my husband his SSN and also change the name on mine.

WOOHOO.

It may be your carrier. Also, do you have insurance on it?

I can only find them in bulk.....I no need 24 mugs.....

And I no need Cornell logos on it....

That mug never complained about anything.....

It was always there for me.......

oopsies ! time, i think, to become a garage sale afficianado, seeking the exact replacement. Prolly wait till after the first thaw, BoatMan ! Or, if you had left that mug on yer boat, it'd been safe for the winter season wink.png

why is this mug called "Melamine"? isn't melamine that poisonous stuff found in China baby formula?

http://www.katom.com/284-C112IR.html?CID=Shopzilla&utm_source=Shopzilla&utm_medium=CSE&utm_campaign=CSE&zmam=29342707&zmas=1&zmac=26&zmap=284-C112IR

It's also a type of plastic, actually branded and copyright-en in the USA, but the formula was stolen and taken to China about 18 years ago. Lots of things made from Melamime, O Boatman !
