good morning everyone ! So we are having pizza for christmas, no tree, no festivities..spent last night crying my eyes out (privately) since for some reason it made me miss home. We never celebrated much either but we had a tiny tree and a dinner together and it felt special. And of course we all baked and what not. *sigh*.

Geez sweetie, you could always come over here for Christmas if you lived closer! We've got a tree, then tonight we are doing a duck then we go over to the neighbor's for deserts, socializing, and singing. Tomorrow we have family friends over and are doing a big feast!

I remember my in laws tried very hard to make Christmas specials for us last year and it was full of uproarious games and cheer. With the drinking and festivity it reminded me of some sort of Viking feast you'd see in a movie.

My husband's family even cut us a tree down from their farm for our living room!

On the plus side, my sister's coming home from hospital today.

That's great!

Soon, you shall have to replace this automobile with a better automobile.....such as a 1976 Ford Pinto.... smile.png

what was she in there for?

She had a major chest infection, bad enough it had covered most of her lungs. She's been in since Saturday. They're releasing her with increased asthma inhalers, steroids, antibiotics and also with the knowledge that her left lung is smaller than it should be and doesn't operate as well. So not sure how they'll fix that, if at all.
