My Canadiana ex-girlfriend sent an Xmas card. When I told Mrs. T-B. who it was, the default Ecuatoriana reaction of blood-in-the-eye jealousy briefly came over her. Down there, 99.44% of All Men Are Cheaters, copyright man, so I have to be careful not to let her see fotos or phone numbers of the rubias*, no man.

The Dane was all upset last night because I wasn't jealous that he spent an hour texting with a woman he used to work with in DK who is getting divorced. You can never win.

An ongoing irritation locally (a zit on my soul) is how Mrs. T-B. handles dirty socks. She stuffs one in another, believing that this keeps them together. Not only is at least one inside-out during the extraction process, but only rarely do an even number of socks go into the warsh and come out of the dryer. One week, there were 7 socks and only 2 of them matched (mine). , man.

Careful, or someone will report you for insulting a Moderatrix. Good thing that this was LPoP and no one read it, si and no man.

Interesting, I stuff them one into the other but when they are clean (and I still lose them somehow...the washing machine eats J socks for whatever reason). if you do that when they are dirty wouldn't that keep them dirty, partially ?

Also, good morning thread....had a nightmare last night. /shiver but then drank my morning smoothie and feel better.

We are supposed to go to this 60th bday party of some doctor who I never met...I don't want to go...I wish I could get my way out of that. AH !

4. They have strange, irritating New Year's customs in Ecu. They insist on eating 12 grapes, to signify something or another. They (meaning especially Mrs. T-B.) go out on the doorstep and throw at least 12 pennies into the air, to signify wealth. (The practical effect of this is to lose </= 12 cents in the mud or shrubbery or grass, only to find them again when the lawnmower hits them, grrr man.) Another irritating custom is to stay up all night, jovially socializing, instead of going to see the fireworks and then being home readying one's self for bed at 12:10 a.m. like any self-respecting gringo, see man.

New Years' Eve is "amateur night" anyway, sigh man -- all the drunks with concomitant numbers of cops. However, it might be a propitious time to rob a bank or something similar, thus actualizing the strange, irritating throwing of pennies into the air, hmmm man...

Uggghhh, I hate how whenever I start working out hardcore, my weight goes up but the measurements go down. Why can weight not go down with measurements? Hmmmm?

so, the kiddo gets ballet lessons......

The school I take her to, they take my money. They tell the parents to stay out of the closed wall dance floor. no glass partitions, no windows. I cant see my daughter dance. I look on the schools FB page, there are no clips, no pics of my daughter.

I approach the owner and said to him......

I'm not paying you to train a world class ballerina (nor is he qualified to do such). Like all the other parents here, I'm paying to watch my daughter dance and be cute. Do you take a kid to music lessons to NOT hear her play? Do you take a kid to Karate lessons to NOT watch him kick?

After weeks of complaining. I buried that school on different review places. And took my daughter out.

who cares about weight. you are building muscles and measurements decreasing is what you are after no ? Whats the point of being 110 pounds and pudgy with no muscle. Much better to be 130 but have 25 inch waist. imo

When i took clarinet and flute lesson we had recitals there were pictures, parents could come in and go whenever they asked a permission of the teacher and i would think with ballet lessons it would be even more "normal" to do so.....

I agree completely. It is just a bummer to get on the scale and it hasn't gone down! Maybe I need to not do while I'm exercising and eating healthy (good for other times though).
