And I'm not getting Tiff another car until she learns how to drive with her eyes open.....

That's best, really. And she can ride a scooter/moped till Springtime, no worries there.

If she complains, just remind her that this is how it's down in Malaysia, and thank her profusely for turning yer house into a Malaysian outpost.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

At least not after last nights trick of faking a phone call in English with an old friend. Although she didn't get the reaction she was trying for.

Uh oh.

Jada is back ! had to take the dogs out and then wash them since they were all muddy and then I had to clean the kitchen floor and the other room floor whatever it is. Now I am finally caught up on the thread geez !! Skimmed thru so probably missed stuff.

Nola - i tried doing the swinging the other way but women can be annoying drama queens so I decided to go back to men(ish). wink.png

If anyone wants to hire me for cooking I am game biggrin.png

Awesome sweater with the penguin don't remember who posted that and I don't remember anything else from the thread. sigh.

I wonder if we will be having dinner tonight, it is usually take out night and I usually want chinese but I am pretty sure everyone else is sick of it lol (white sauce or garlic sauce and rice and steamed veggies and oh yum).

Happy holidays everyone before I forget or something ! Are you all making big new years plans ? Any superstitions like we have ? Like - "the way you spend 1st of january is way you spend whole year" or "can't eat chicken you luck will fly out (along with money) or rabbit (hops pretty fast away too) or turkey or fish (swims away)" The only thing you can eat is pork cause that just lays there.

oh and

Yours truly

Jada

Actually, Cary.....

When my FIL left here in 2009. I gave him a DeWalt 18V tool set. (in fact I gotta send him some batteries). I'm sure a set like that would be well appreciated in the phils

I actually put a bunch of tools in my wife's place, back when she still lived there and I'd do some fixing of things here and there. They were all stolen in a house break in. Screw the power drivers, they'd do well just to have a standard screw driver. One brother in law, he married my wife's sister, wouldn't know what side of hammer to hold and which side to hit with. My other brother in law does know, but his wife would sell them all so she could go to the parlor, when he returned to his seaman job. So unless I'm there, there's little need for any tools.

because I no wanna shuttle her around?

I need a hunting/ fishing car. The Yukon is 10 years old. But a Sprinter can't do what the Yukon does.

I need a commuter car, altho I can use an Impala from the company. But I no wanna use an Impala... ergo, the Accord. May be I can have the company lease me an Accord :)

Sprinter gets 28 mpg when unloaded, perfect commuter car !

Easily turns into the perfect fishing car.

Easily turns into the perfect hunting car.

can trick out the inside, as well.

Why is it your responsibility to 'haul Tiff around', in the first place ?

Exactly, she should break down with tears of joy for getting a bicycle.

Women are drama queens, that is certainly true.

Last year in Denmark there were fireworks all up and down the street and all over the city, it was pretty magical. Here, I just fall asleep like it is any other night. :)

Lemon bread was not so good and the glaze, YUCK! I don't know if it is me but I noticed some Europeans and the such just glaze ####### with basically sugar. That tastes awful. I should have known better than to use it because I know I hate it, but still....

Merry Christmas Jada. Dang Steveklar made me remember that.

My wife has a million things you have to do for New Years. A ton of must haves for food, and you make a feast big enough to feed a small village, maybe medium sized, even if there's just the two of you. First year this came up, I was informed at the last minute Duck was one of them, and my deli sold their last one before I got there. Ended up running to the grocery, buying a frozen duck, force thawing it, then cooking it myself. She has no idea how to cook a duck. Gotta have noodles for long life to. I forget all reasons behind each and every thing, but you gotta do it or die, or something horrible will happen. I think the duck was to keep a marriage happy, but it might have been something else. I jsut know she would not have been happy without that silly duck.

lemon bread sounds nice but god glazing ew. I make lemon cake that turns out pretty good most of the times but with added blueberries and raspberries and more lemon. You should try...it is good.

4-Why is it your responsibility to 'haul Tiff around', in the first place ?

1- You expect me to drive a sprinter in a suit and tie?

2- Sprinter can serve as fishing car. But the Yukon is a Denali XL, meaning, it's quite luxurious and comfy for many adults as well.

3- The Sprinter cannot serve me as a hunting car....you forget I'm in NY. Need AWD and my property has some rugged terrain. (Ergo the need for ATVs as well) and the Yukon can tow...a lot....

4- Um...because the little fiend is my wife? lol
