Today was my first day back to school for the spring semester. It went very smoothly, thankfully. Though I got into an argument with hubby because he was being a pighead, which kind of crapped on the first half of my day. Feeling better now, though.

Today was supposed to be my first day back too, but my stupid course is not showing up in Blackboard. I called tech support 6 hours ago and they opened a ticket, but this is really irritating.

It is a major headache and my poor husband has endured living with his in laws for 9 months now.

A lot of my assignments have been through online labs, and it's been a royal pain in the butt. My school uses Pearson, and I don't know if it's just their faulty system or what but it's awful - system is always down, some assignments don't show up, etc. I actually took two virtual classes this semester so I hope they're better.

Ouch,I sympathize. Though my mother is definitely easier to live with than my dad, it's starting to take a definite toll in my sanity. I'm just sick of sharing living quarters with anyone besides hubby.

I'm in one of this one uni's classes online through bb and it works beautifully. The professor even lets you take photos of your assignments and turn them into PDFs, which saves hours each week in typing up math assignments and having to do diagrams and the such in maple. This other class is also through the same school, but I think the issue might have been the fact I became an admitted student between the two classes, so it just didn't update properly. It is the first day of class, so they are probably backlogged. I'm even a fan of the proctored tests, I think it adds legitimacy.

The other two online ones are through the software that comes with the book and it is ok, but not great. Like if your computer crashes during a quiz you can't get back in. My Spanish course you couldn't even buy a book it is all through the software and when it expires, then you have no book! I've been print selectioning it out, but it was the cost of a textbook.
