its irresponsible to bring someone on a K-1 without the resources to adjust status after.

This remains one of VJ's biggest and most consistent mysteries to me. Think ahead, people! Furthermore, if you're going to have trouble paying the AOS fees, you're going to have financial trouble in your marriage.

So mine came home from school today and like every Thursday had library books. She managed to find a book in the school library about a little girl who had moved from Scandinavia and was missing her 'mormor' at Christmas. The little one was just crying last night about home much she missed her grandparents. [...] I think that the librarian or teacher might have done it knowing it would be relevant.

Who cooked tonight?

Tonight, no rice, thank you man for the open question. Big bowl of soup, involving liquid (imagine!!!), some kind of pasta, some kind of beans, and a big slab of steak. Yet again, I needed a knife, fork, & spoon to eat soup, see man.

Project at work was did rather dispatchedly, si man, and in fact there was time to knock another item off the to-do list, whee man.

New cat ("new" = >1.5 yr together) turned 4 years old on Dec. 19, miu man. (That's approximately 15,839.7 in cockroach years, Algebra man; or, more accurately, "many.") I mentioned the birthday occasion to Mini-B., who noted that his older, fluffy, corpulent feline sister is "soft & juicy."

When we went to see Thor there were a bunch of teenagers there to see the Hunger Games and like groups of girls all with Katniss reaping braids, which I love to do on the little one, but can't seem to do on myself. A dutch braid straight across the front of your own head and around is tricky.

oh yah that one is difficult. My sister would do it for me cause she is like a braiding wizard ! I wish I was that skilled.

Speaking of which...I need a haircut...found 2 cannot seem to choose one I will go with. Hmmmmm.

I haven't had a haircut since maybe August of last year? I'm thinking of going to just get it straightened out, but they always take too much off. I color my hair myself, so that isn't a problem (and frankly lately for $20 looks better than the $200+ dye job I was getting here before).

I needz it long for braiding anyway.

The braiding is totally a practice thing - I do the little one's hair up in all sorts of braids and with the youtube it is so much easier than when I was a kid.

Nola ! You are making me want to braid my hair stop that lol I am ready for haircut !! Also, the coloring I totally agree...I had been doing mine (1x every 2 years) at home. Bought this color in August and it burned me so bad though....and the one color I loved they don't produce anymore. It was Federico Fekkai and used to cost 30 bucks and since they stopped making it, people sell it for 90 ...no thanks. So wait ....what color do you dye your hair ?
