Oh. you need 200 pounds of catfood? Cause you know he'll get converted into that, about 48 hours after the first meetup.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Dentist put me on a 5-day course of metronidazole on Thursday. Hate that drug so so much. My first run (no pun intended) with it, I had to wrap myself around the toilet after each dose. This time it's headaches...

Sounds like a sensitivity to it, you probably shouldn't be taking it then.

Yeah, the doctor who first gave it to me said that the reaction I had was within the "normal" range of side-effects the drug has, and since it has proven to be effective, I should basically suck it up. Screw that. I stopped taking it this morning. Gotta wait for whats left of it to exit my system now. A more upbeat Kit will be back on VJ in a few days...

Sunday report, see man:

Was looking forward to another 100%-inside-the-casa Sunday of laundry, newspaper-reading, etc., but instead went to visit Aunt-T-B.-With-Alzheimer's, sigh man. The rest home was quite impressive, si man. Mini-B. was the apple of the eyes of all visitors and of the residents who still had wits about them; Mini-B. was most impressed with the two free-roaming resident cats, one of the two free-roaming resident dogs (the other was big and scary), and especially the two caged resident rabbits, si man. He giggled when one made pupu; he watched them eat grass; he squealed in delight when they went from one level to another in their hutch; and he correctly read all the letters in the name "Thumper," impressing visitors nearby. Aunt is probably not much longer for this world, which would be a release for her and a loss for the world, si and sigh man.

A semiprivate room there costs $7,000/month and a private room $11,000/month, faint man. Le$$on: Either have $Many or don't get Alzheimer's, $i and no man.

The reason for no dinner is that we went from the rest home to Souper Salad for a buffet, courtesy of a coupon in immediate danger of expiring. We were (I was) disappointed -- far too much rabbit-food, and nearly impossible (even at coupon price) to eat more in the value of the food than the amount of payment for the food, sigh man, which is the operating principle of any buffet, see man. We won't be back soon, if ever, no man. However, the good news is that we used a coupon right on its expiration date, whee man. Chief among my choices was fettucini with taco-meat slathered atop it, slurrrrrp man.

We managed to eat enough (in volume, if not value) to feel stuffed, which enabled Mrs. T-B. to not have to make dinner. I had a banana and the last third of a huge bag of "holiday" tortilla cheaps, si man (bag was in Aldi's closeout bin, marked $1.49, but rang up at .89, whee man).

The laundry didn't get finished till 8p, but for the third consecutive week I was shrewdly able to combine two loads into one, efficiency man, which is worth a hunnerd fiddy, $teve man.

Spent most of eve balancing checkbook for last 10 months' worth of statements; was surprised that all statements were found so readily, whee man. Then, paid all the infernal property-taxes (grrrrrr, man), which shall bankrupt us till March at least. Put Mrs. T-B. in bed and observed Mini-B. having a nearly-3-year-old's nightmare. Thought for the Day: He had nightmares when he was 3 months old, too. What can a 3-month-old have a nightmare about -- milk? That's my guess, intuit man.

Yeah, the doctor who first gave it to me said that the reaction I had was within the "normal" range of side-effects the drug has, and since it has proven to be effective, I should basically suck it up. I had a GP prescribe me arthritis medicine once (for my Lyme that she denied I had) and I had this screaming stomach pain any time I took them. I never had stomach pain before in my life, so I called of course and she claimed because it wasn't listed as a side effect it wasn't possible I was experiencing it. I looked it up online and of course it was a side effect. I never saw her again and I try my best to avoid GPs now.

Thank goodness too, because I got my Lyme treated by a different doctor and I felt great. I still have arthritis, but it is managed by OTC NSAIDs and alternative remedies.

Welp, flight's booked.. here we go..

Fun, fun! I think it is going to be cold again soon around here. Brrrr. What are your plans once over?

Wow, very nice.

Went to the mall to buy shoes that are not running shoes (aka tennis shoes.) All they had were boots. The same f*cking boots that every other woman or girl wears. I don't want.

So I bought make up instead. Some new mascara, a whole bunch of body wash cause it's on sale at bath and body works, and some red lipstick that I tried on for the first time ever but I like it.

Here is me in said lipstick:

Ok, I wanna kill Tiff again.....

No can find 2 new credit cards.....and it must be all her fault.....

That happened to me, I didn't even know it was missing until I noticed my card had expired. I requested the replacement from the company. A week after receiving the replacement, I discovered where the Juna had put the other card away. If she only stuck to one spot to put things like that away, I'd be fine. I still haven't found where she put the paperwork for my dog away, and thats in a file folder. Now if I only could get myself to put that stuff away before my wife does, I wouldn't have this issue. Multiple organised stacks on my desk, was always my old way of putting things away. To be gleaned through a couple times a year to throw or store based on importance. But my wife feels any stack on a desk must be put somewhere.
