This, and the business stuff, compose some of the reasons why I don't heart Ciudad de Nueva York.

NYC is great if you're an illegal immigrant lib who want to ride your bicycle and not obey traffic laws, and squat in someones apt for years at their expense because its your divine right to do so.......and you want to go to New Mexico to buy a drivers license and drive here double parking your car anywhere you want without regard to any others, and cut people off because theres no such thing as "right of way" where you came from.....so you don't have to follow vehicle traffic laws here...

Some shoes... that I can wear with bootcut jeans. that won't' kill my feet but aren't runners (aka tennis shoes).

I wear a 6.5 biggrin.png

I wear platform clogs with jeans when the jeans aren't too short to do so.

why do you go to sleep and wake up so early?

I'm drinking coffee from my emergency back up favorite coffee mug. The Canada one...

Like I didn't talk about it enough on this thread. lol Besides, I bet it is still left overs from when I had a job...6am at work already , 10pm home and still doing work lol Missing it.

Anyways...emergency back up not enough...find a mug at the mall...and if you are buying shoes, I wear size 4.5/5 depending on shoes.

Saw "her" the movie....still don't know how i feel about it. It was interesting....gotta reflect more about it.

Left over chinese lunch....oh so good and still have lunch for tomorrow. *pats own back*

hmm.....what about....I'll think of something.......does Amazon have any hubs around you? they're hiring

UPS is also a great employer of part time workers. I say part time, because its hard to get a permanent job with UPS, that's how they save. But the per diem work is high paying.

Oooh, I'll also keep this in mind. I really don't want anything amazing, just enough to save a bit while we're going to school.

Niki, you are beautiful!

Hey everyone! I've been gone for a while.. just thought I'd catch you guys up on what's been going on with me: I passed my driver's license test on the second try in novemeber yaay haha, then I passed the third actuarial exam, and shortly after that I got a job offer in DC. I start In one week! I was in DC yesterday and today looking at apartments and we found one we loved! We are signing the lease tomorrow :) I feel like my life is really taking off now! Honestly I'm not too crazy about DC, but the job is great (it's exactly what I was looking for) and my co-workers seem really friendly.

I really hadn't gotten many interviews., I was starting to worry I was going to have to settle for a non-actuarial job.. so glad I found one in the end!

Yay, congrats! I'm jealous. :P Hubby and I desperately want to move to the DC area. We're definitely city people.

Henceforth, he is anointed "D-Hueso," whee man.

Sounds a little dirty.

What is this, like the small feet brigade?

Jeez, you're telling me. I wear a 10.

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.

Jeez, you're telling me. I wear a 10. laughing.gif

I wear a 9.5 or 10, depending on the shoe. I am almost 5'10" tall though, so I would look weird and be off balance with tiny feet. tongue.png

Ok, break is over. Time to get back to moving.
