The Chinese food restaurants always used to have zodiac place mats when I was a kid.

I seemed to have pissed off some people elsewhere! Oops! Whatever.

They had them when I was a kid and still do. I keep wishing they'd change those dang things, as I was born in the year of the earth pig. I was also born a Bull, so don't let me near any china shops.

poor guy. I think he's getting ripped off. He was a little jumpy. But he came around, and I gotta say, he's a gentleman. But not so much the other posters.

1. When Mrs. T-B. offers me a salad or throws too many infernal vegetables into something that shouldn't be thus adulterated, I say "soy no un conejo" (I am not a rabbit).

2. I did not claw my way to the top of the food chain merely to eat vegetables, no man.

You'd love the way my wife cooks veggies, she starts with a large piece of pork. My wife does not believe in veggies sans meat. If man was meant to eat veggies without meat, he wouldn't have made meat taste so good. On the negative side, I think her ancestors were cannibals, and if I step out of line I could end up being dinner. To tell the truth, once in while I just want a friggen salad before all the meat she serves.

The previously broken little toe is still not back to normal, no man. I've been careful with shoes ever since, but sometimes the toe still emerges black & blue, mystery man. For how long might this keep occurring, huh man, and must I go on a renewed shoe-buying spree, $igh man?

Kitchen ants are wiped out by my wife twice daily. At least in her home country she swept the entire place twice a day to keep the ants under control.

Speaking of cats, wife and I are getting together with some immigrant friends of her's tonight, one of who loves cats. It just happens to be for dinner.

I don't know for me, I read it, and it is nothing surprising. It is just part of the blah blah I picked a foreign wife so she'd let me get away with my bad behavior crowd.

Enough about that.

I lost 1.1 lbs when I got on the scale yesterday and another 1.1 today, and that is like 2.7 total over the last week. Maybe small, but it is a step in the right direction.
