I don't know how much income you are looking for, but a bilingual Spanish/English speaker here can easily make starting $15/hr doing customer service phone work with no other skills.

I wish that was the case here. I speak some French and German, too, and though they aren't exactly high demand languages in this area, I thought being multilingual would at least help me a little in the job search. :( Guess not. Poo.

Anyone here play Go? I am suddenly obsessed with it.

My brother does, though I have no clue what it's about.

I have to say, I was feeling super down about my job situation this afternoon and after a three mile run and a chest/bicep routine, I'm feeling much better. :) The ultimate stress reliever, for sure.

Nice bathroom. Yep I'd do it all myself. I've done a few of them, so I know what I'm doing.

You guys have that big home center there....privately owned.....Menards!

That's a good store.

Did they come via drone? I can't wait for drones to start delivering.

what I wanna know is...common real estate law. I own my airspace. If I shoot down one of these drones, can I keep the prize? :)

omg and that is enough for you ?? I would want to eat the fridge in 3 hours biggrin.png

Nola was born year of the Rabbit......

Yeah, unfortunately I have one of those "famine survivor" body types, so in order to lose weight I have to eat cumulative 1200 calories a day and even then, I'm only expected to lose like 1,5 a week max.

oh hey same here only I really like food...quantity wise...i dont need a steak but you better give me a bucket of veggies else I won't feel full lol

You gals are cheap to feed :)

It's really getting to me! We need the extra income or we'll be stuck with my parents forever. sad.png Urgh.

I'm so tempted to go back but I'm not about to throw hubby's visa down the toilet. I want to at least wait for his citizenship before we consider leaving. Still, though. A bit disheartening. sad.png

oh sigh ! hopefully something will come up soon, i am in the same boat except I got no job offers here or there lol

sidenote: thanks to all for all of your input on my little "situation", it is appreciated and food for thought. thank you thank you.

When I was 29, I was sleeping on a mattress on the floor, with a piece of sheetrock on 2 buckets as a dining table. When I was 32, I got used to it smile.png ....no lol when I was doing alright by then.....

Point is.....you 2 are young yet. I hope you pick up some inspiration along the way (Perhaps even from here). I want you to gather your energy, and give it all you've got. And in 10 years, I hope that you guys are living a great happy life. And I hope I'm around to hear about it.

NIghtstand done. YAY first drawer unit built. I'm proud of myself.

I suppose you feel like a mechanic now huh? smile.png

Nah I like building stuff. All of the furniture we have I put together. Not big on power tools tho, lol I have this vision in my head of drilling into or sawing my hand off.

The Chinese food restaurants always used to have zodiac place mats when I was a kid.

I seemed to have pissed off some people elsewhere! Oops! Whatever.
