I'm not that crass. But not far off that.....

My mother and father hated each other after their divorce. Then they went off dying less than a month apart. So many people assume when they hear that, that my father was so in love he couldn't live without her. Actually I think he hated her so much, he'd be damned if he'd die before her and give her a chance to dance to his grave. rofl.gif

omg that sounds good.

It was so so good I could of ate another one if it wasn't for the fact that I ate way too much to begin with.

2. All that he wants is Thomas the Tank Engine -- on his tablet computer, on DVD, or personal play. Thomas was always part of the mix, but now it's everything. He won't pick out any book.

He will shift again, building stuff is always fun.

It feels too cold for ice cream. I need coffee(decaf) or some hot cocoa with marshmallows. Hmm, that sounds delicious. Now I must go see about making a yummy warm cup before bed.

Thomas the Tank Engine books it is then. See if he will pick up any of those. Sounds like a phase. He will lose some interest in when he discovers other things to occupy his mind and time. Just let him overindulge with what he seems obsessed with at the moment. Try laying out other books with a similar interest/theme for him to see, such as The Little Engine That Could.

Wasn't too cold here, but again I've been eating ice cream in much colder weather since I was little.

I think Mini-B is going through a phase too.

As little as I get to go to Mexico now, I have my cleanings and bleachings done there. Far, far cheaper than in the U.$., and the highest-quality work. I most recently got an anti-sleep apnea mouthpiece for $350 drive-out price; in the U.$., it would have approached $1,000 ($Many).

Grandma-Mini-B. and I are quite anguished at Mini-B.'s refusal to read. Earlier, he was so far ahead of his peers in alphabet and spelling skills; now, we fear that he's falling behind. He shows only mild interest even in his Thomas books (which aren't deep in their content). That tablet computer of his was the death blow, I think, but heaven forbid that we curtail its use. When I was his age, Mama T-B. controlled my behavior and educated me by giving me "any book." I don't know if this is just a phase, but if so, it's a long and intense one, sigh man.

How is that mouth piece working for you? My husband has sleep apnea and just got a new machine it's quieter then the other machine but still drives me nuts. And well the little muchkin sometimes kicks it off.

With Mini-B being almsot 3 it's most likely a phase. And those dang tablets are big distractions they are like a double edge sword sometimes.

So, hubby has been working mornings lately, and thusly has asked that I wait for him to get home before I go to the gym so we can go together. This would be great except when he gets home he's understandably tired and just wants to relax. I'd rather just get up early and go get it over with, but he keeps insisting he'll go and then doesn't and I end up wasting a whole day doing nothing as a result. Just a tad annoying. He's sleeping as I type this, while we should be done our cardio by now. Urrggh!

Mini-B. used to beg for us to read to him, especially "Green Eggs & Ham" and "Hop on Pop." However, he now refuses to read, or to put up with our reading to him. Anyone with advice, huh man?

Make a Hand Puppet out of a thickish sock, and have the hand puppet read along.

I'd go in the morning and if he decided to go after work then do something else that I didn't do in the morning.

My father was in the hospital a few weeks ago. Around thanksgiving...

My sister came from Philly to visit him. An aunt brought up a question. Does my father have a will? My sister said...."I don't need money, but I think my husbands family needs money"

Really? So her useless husbands useless parents should inherit some of my fathers money?

And my step mom? If my father goes, it's her money, isn't it?

What she didn't know....is that I have all that covered. I have the living trust, the power of atty. How retarded is my sis to not know that her brother....(you know, the guy with the law degree) Had this all covered?

So a few years back....my sister gets married to a guy that tried to rip me off. Then tried to rip off my neighbor....

My father buys them a house in Philly. Doesn't tell me, makes no mention of it. Not that I'd give a rats azz. After all, she's his family. I'm not. Anyway....a few years later, my BIL takes out a huge HELOC and buys another piece in Philly. A mansion of sorts. Then rented out the house that my father bought. When the renter stiffed them, they went into default on 2 mortgages and a car loan. My father gets sued.....but he's too proud, or secretive to come to me. (Am I the only one whose father has secrets that he keeps from me? I found out my mom died when giving birth to my brother when I was 27, from a long lost aunt). Anyway.....my step mom informs me of this.

What did I do?

The answer when I get back from picking up the kiddo from school.....
