The shocks in my car are frozen solid.....

It took three winters, but my spouse has finally decided to enjoy winter activities in Minnesota. BTW this was last Saturday, when the temperature was still above zero, although not by much.

I have the hiccups. sad.png Is that a valid excuse to call in sick to work?

The temp outside on Monday was my excuse. Actually I did go outside, but it was to drive my wife to work in a preheated car. Then get oil changed on said car. Then returned to take my wife to lunch. Next step was bringing the mangy looking mutt to the groomer to get cutified again. Followed by picking wife up from work, going out to dinner at the mall, where some cheap Japanese place makes teriyaki chicken the my wife loves. Also found a new joint opened up that sells high quality olive oil with crush dates and ratings. I've been looking for decent olive oil locally for a long time. The stuff costs enough to give TB a heart attack, but maybe it will keep me from having one to, given the amount of oil my wife uses in her cooking. Finally returned to groomer to pick up not cute looking puppy dog with eyes I can once again see.

Sounds like a normal Minnesota winter day with frozen shocks. Normally they warm up and work again shortly, although the latest temps have kept them pretty stiff all day.

It was real fun. We might return this Saturday, when the temps are due to get quite nice being in the upper 20's and maybe even 30! Or we might go ice skating. Another thing she wants to try, but fearing the hard ice meeting her butt won't make that her favorite winter activity.

Couple more tubing pics. These were on the what they called the Family Hill, with a long and mellow slope. Later we moved on to the fast hill, shorter but very fast, too fast to catch pictures on. And we were having too much fun to want to bother with cameras.

I'll put that on tiffs bucket list smile.png

You'll probably need to get her a Louis Vuitton tube before she goes though.

Bring the little one, she'll love it.

I'm glad to see that your wife is adjusting to the winters. smile.png

Plus the winter blindness caused by the bright sun on snow, keeps me looking good to her rofl.gif

My neighbours gave us three giant jackfruit from their fruit plantation in Malaysia yesterday. Today, there are maggots crawling out of them. They JUMP.

I am never going to feel clean again, ever. sad.png

I love jackfruit! Don't like maggots though, so I guess I better avoid jackfruit gifted from Malaysians.

Brought back a screw fly maggot from the Philippines one trip. You don't really want to know how I got it back. cray5ol.gif

Is zo cold that even der penguins is vearing der overjackets, si man.

Why is there any need or desire to remain in the Midwest (or Northeast) and be cold, huh man?

Go walk around your yard for a bit and the fire ants will remind you of one advantage of northern climates.

Is that a rescue dog? It really looks like some of the dogs in my rescue group! They were springer spaniel mixes.

the Kiddo loves anything messy. Tiff broke down and wore my non-designer neoprene gloves today.

She still wont listen to me after she froze in her Burberry boots the other day. I showed her some Cabela's stuff, she wont have anything to do with it.

hey did your browsers just prevented VJ from opening a window?

Nope, but my firewall at the office keeps all VJ ads from showing and many other nasties away from the user's computers. But the firewall is not afraid of pink, like someone's here is.
