I do not eat spicy foods either, much to the dismay of my Mexican husband tongue.png

bah - mexican food is regional, by state. IME, it takes about 3 weeks to work yer way round every type of soup / caldo made.

Soup is a safe food, mostly.

well....it happened......like every snow storm.....6-7 AM, the door bell rings, waking the whole house. usually a migrant worker looking to shovel the snow for 10-20 bucks.

I forgot to turn off the door bells.....

I'm one of those guys that when I'm up, I'm up. Theres no going back to sleep.

I guess I'll make like Tarklar and sit here and talk to myself...........

La Migra esta aqui. That's what I tell them. Regardless of snow fall.

Here's hoping you handed the shovel to Gump, instead.

I believe this is what people call "networking"

I hope one of these places has an opening.

The biggest issue hubby faces is that everyone here either ONLY speaks spanish, or speaks with a spanish accent.

He grew up in Canada.

He knows french-canadian accents, not mexican-american accents.

He can't understand ANYTHING anyone says.

It amazes me too because he told me he couldn't understand ANYTHING this lady on the phone said because of her accent, then I spoke with her, and I didn't even realize she had an accent because I'm so used to it =X

Please watch more spanish TV at home.

Handy hints (from me)

1. any futbol/soccer games

2. any news programs (the females are over-endowed and yummy)

3. Sabado Gigante on Saturday evenings.

I feel like I have to drink coffee just to be able to poop anymore.

Ridiculous.

/over sharing

This is common for those of us over 40 and still multi-tasking...

OK so I'm in facebook, and peek into the visajourney group there. And some Filipina is requesting donations for a lawyer because their CR-1 was rejected for a dishonorable discharge from the military. They've got themselves set up on one of those accept donations sites, and making a very big plea for help. Now this doesn't quite add up to me so I go searching into what the real story is. Figure out the petitioners name and google it. Sure enough there is a legal rendering on the guy on an appeal he filed. Adam Walsh Act violation as the guy had sodomized his 8 year old daughter. Google Linus Romey and it will pop up. But was really shocking is people were asking why she would even be with this man, and if she would have kids with him. And she said I trust him completely and would have kids with him. I totally wanted to scream. The topic has been deleted now, I'm not sure if by the op or the admin. But in the mean time they got their donation site shut down to. I don't think they liked the money was gonna be used to help a peodofile get a young wife in to make babies for him. I'm still shaking my head in disbelief.

The USCitizen spouse posted a topic here about it, comments were made, and the topic deleted.

Oh yes. They had to buy a round trip ticket for Tiffs cousin to go to Malaysia to retrieve the kid. We'll see how that plays out.

Right now, Gump is downstairs taking a nap, while his wife and my wife are setting up the food that I went to get.....

Ask her to go find us a place to eat all you can eat lobster for $9.95

Gump is the monster child's father? OMG. If I were in yer shoes, it'd be chocolate exlax brownies every other day, for him. It's sad that flogging is outlawed here, as that's what he really needs.
