Hi Everyone :)

I do still exist and I do think of you guys!

Fun fact: Had really bad heartburn/nausea during pregnancy and voilà the teen (then a newborn clearly) came out with hair.

So very happy not to be enduring the Canadian winter this year and so is the teen.

All my kids gave me heartburn, Alexis the 2 year old was the worse she had a ####### load of hair. I'm hoping this little guy is like that makes the pain from the heartburn worth it well kinda :P

What it looks like: It's basically a big old sticker covering Page 8 of my passport and looks very much like the biographical page of passports you get these days. On the left it has the photo they scanned. The bottom is a machine-readable section. As for actual design - has a blue (with "VISA" written on it on top-left corner), red (United States of America written on it in middle) and gold (With Liberty Bell and VISA again, this time vertically down the right side of the page). It contains my surname, name, passport number, number of entries allowed, my A#, DOB, date of issue and date of expiry as well as the country/city of issue and the class.

No, no, no, man -- that's all wrong. As penance for this and for knowing far too much about the good silverware, you must go through the entire process again. I have spoken, hear man.

I'm confused, Comrade T-B. What exactly was wrong?

Unless you meant "what does it look like" in more of a less literal sense. In which case, it looks like awesomeness and 7 months of joint, transatlantic work between myself and Comrade Awesome for a big old sticker in my passport which is actually probably the most valuable thing ever to me right now.

I've had my leaving do with the Scouts crew. I'm spending Christmas Day with the family and having a slap-up meal with them, New Year's I'm going to stay with an old friend of mine for about 4 days or so.. probably going to have another meal with my closest friends down here and then on the 17th most of my family is coming to see me off at Heathrow.

Must off-log soon, c u man. Comrade Slim, be judicious in regard to the fizzicle (cool new spelling) strain of your pre-departure activities. Mrs. T-B. came off the plane looking like a zombie, and she promptly came down with a severe upper-respiratory infection, cough man. It turns out that she'd had three despedidas (going-away parties) in three different Ecu cities before boarding the plane, and those overtaxed even her party-hearty constitution.
