clay pot rice casserole

a-wah-claypot-rice-casserole-bo-zai-fan-

Okay that looks good.. Most of the food you've ever posted makes me look at it sideways in fear, but I want this recipe.

OK so I'm in facebook, and peek into the visajourney group there. And some Filipina is requesting donations for a lawyer because their CR-1 was rejected for a dishonorable discharge from the military. They've got themselves set up on one of those accept donations sites, and making a very big plea for help. Now this doesn't quite add up to me so I go searching into what the real story is. Figure out the petitioners name and google it. Sure enough there is a legal rendering on the guy on an appeal he filed. Adam Walsh Act violation as the guy had sodomized his 8 year old daughter. Google Linus Romey and it will pop up. But was really shocking is people were asking why she would even be with this man, and if she would have kids with him. And she said I trust him completely and would have kids with him. I totally wanted to scream. The topic has been deleted now, I'm not sure if by the op or the admin. But in the mean time they got their donation site shut down to. I don't think they liked the money was gonna be used to help a peodofile get a young wife in to make babies for him. I'm still shaking my head in disbelief.

i remember this guy posting here!!!! I remember talking to hubs about the Adam Walsh Act and how this guy was asking for donations on that page and I wrote a whole angry letter to him on that page and wanted to make comments on it from facebook but didn't want my real name popping out there. UGH what a piece of garbage. So now I just told hubs what actually happened and he was so stunned he just stopped talking.

hmm btw i ended up not sending the letter because I really didn't believe it would do any good and I didn't want him having my email address or facebook name.... Glad I didn't... but I still think he's a scumbag.

OH PS... It's snowing here too.

I already shoveled yesterday. Not shoveling the yard.

Now I have a dilemma....

how do I reneg on a promise to my daughter to take her sledding and skiing, because I wanna go to the NY Boat show devil.gif

You don't. Take her in the morning or the afternoon and spend the other time at the boat show. I suggest taking her first then the boat show.

So my mother promises up and down to reimburse me for any class I get an A or a B in, which I neither asked for nor needed, but was a nice gesture after I took on a fortune in student loan debt because CT is expensive. I found out that I got an A in Spanish and I tell her repeatedly, does she give me the money for the class? Nope, but instead this morning I get called lazy for working out at home rather than cleaning as if an hour in the morning precludes cleaning later.

Also, I get called a bad parent repeatedly because my daughter with butt length hair has knots. Really? My hair is knotty like an hour after I brush it and hers is worse because she rolls around a lot, but if I braid to prevent knots...I'm just making her "weird" and hurting her. /facepalm

I'm going crazy here.

Oh I hope your house sells so you can move out. Sounds horrible to be honest. As much as I hate being in an apartment, at least I do not have to live with my in-laws. I could only imagine since my MIL complains about my BIL's wife all the time to me. Hubs feels bad not having her with us because we make more than BIL does BUT hubs also knows she'd drive him insane, thankfully.

My juice of choice is 100% cranberry juice, no sugar added.

Are you allergic to cilantro, or you just really hate the taste of it?

I looove cranberry juice! :)

I like cilantro the way I like rice... no particular fondness for it, but just sort of got used to eating it everyday.

Sounds like something my parents would pull too.

Yikes she would have a heart attack if she saw my daughters hair, she has unrully curls and five seconds of getting it in pig tails or a pony tail she rips it out. No way would she sit to braid anything.

Well I took the kiddo sledding and didn't go to the boat show....

Built snow man, sent her down the slide in the sled, very entertaining watching her trip all over herself in skis smile.png

Well that is what good Daddy's do :)

I spent way too much time in Carters store, got the baby lots of cloths. At least now when he's born we can dress him :P

1) The history Cary presented about that couple who collected money for a lawyer gave me chills. Some people are really creepy...

2) I feel jealous of your snow and temperatures... I miss snow and a real winter. They say that we will have a real winter will come in the second half of January, but I'm like #######? Winter should have been here for a month already!

3) I have a question about garage sales... Mr T-B - do you have a storage to keep all the things you're buying via the gc? Seems like there's no week without getting new things and I wondered if you have a mansion or a storage to fit them all biggrin.png

3) Since "toodle-loo" is an archaic American form of "goodbye" in Polish it will be "do zobaczenia" ("see you later"), "do widzenia" ("good bye") or "cześć" ("bye") smile.png

1. 99% of all lawyers give the rest a bad name, si man.

2. You can have ours. All of it. Free, man.

3/Many. We buy selectively, typically buy small items, and don't buy that much, si wee and no man. If we buy bigger stuff, there's either a planned place for it or it replaces stuff. For example (e.g., man), Mrs. T-B. found some new dining-room chairs at an unpassable-up price, whee man. She brought those home. We moved the old chairs into the hallway temporarily until I could get them to the donation place, a couple of days later. (Note, NB man: Our old chairs sold within a day or two, do widzenia man.) As another example (e.g., man), if I buy clothing, it typically replaces something that I want to (or ought to) get rid of, see man. Sorry to ruin my image, burst your bubble, or both, gee man.

3/Many (the repeat of "3" tends to reconfirm the initial impression of Poland's numerical system, one two many man; however, back to topic). I interpret these alphabet-soup terms as follows, see man:

Zobaczenia* = a bacterium, or the drug used to treat it.

Widzenia* = a fragrant flowering plant that people have in their gardens

Czesc* = an Eastern European republic, and what Jada is, si ma'am.

(Got them all, first try, whee man!)

*English-only outside the regional forums, please ma'am, oj tak.

1. I'm up at 630.....

2. Pinche guey......

1. I got up (rather, the ####### alarm went off) at that time, zzz man. The MS (moving-sale) was rather disappointing, sigh man -- quite a lot of junk. I noted with interest several never-opened packages of pillowcases from Penney's (predecessor name of JCPenney) that I didn't get because the ghastly early-1970s' color schemes were like a bad drug-dream, wheeeee man. I salvaged the situation by getting 5 nice tablespoons, 2 small screwdrivers, a package of practice-golfballs (not for golf, but for exercising the cat), and a drawstring bag, all for $1, $i man. I used the rest of the morn to run errands. I was completely trashed afterwards and even a 2-hour nap didn't help, sigh and no man.

2. English-only outside the regional forums, and I fervently hope that you find a cure for that ailment, Steve man.

I want this recipe.

I will help, si ma'am! (Ahem, harrumph) Eye of newt, and wing of bat; ear of toad, and toe of rat... That dish sounds like nothing to shake a speare at, verily man.
