The rainstorms over here were bad enough they caused the ground to give way in one of the valleys the line goes through, and blocked it. The bus I travelled on to get to the train station also had to go around a rockslide in that valley.

On some Ecu mountain roads, they have avalanche-removal (and mud-removal) equipment stationed. Regardless, it takes many hours to clean it up.

I guess I'll make like Tarklar and sit here and talk to myself...........

We're just going to see about an inch of snow today. I'm worried about Sunday and Monday though, -27 as the low with -12 being the high temp.

This hardly compares, no man, but it's to get down to (+)25 & 26 F. here on Sunday & Monday nights. Many pipes will burst, blast man.

I'm peeved. A thrift store locally was closing down, and desperate (on Craigslist) to sell its remaining stuff. They weren't open on Tuesday when I was last off. I called on Friday afternoon, and the guy said that someone had offered $200 for all his remaining stuff, but hadn't gotten back to him yet. I called again on Fri. eve, and unfortunately the deal was consummated.

I was hoping to cram as much into the T-B.-jalopy as the latter would hold, consign what the consignment shop would take, and donate the rest, si and sigh man. Now, all that there is to look forward to is one (1) MS (moving-sale) tomorrow -- an older couple nearby is downsizing from a casa to a townhouse. I like those sales. However, after spending a full 100 minutes on company-man stuff tonight, and after three bad nights of non-sleep, and no nap since Monday, and with de-dishwarshering and cat-ministry pending, and several more pages of this thread to comment on, and having to arise at o'dark-thirty to get to the MS in time, I'll be in great shape, whoopee man.

Garage sales are way too early for me I don't crawl out of bed much before 10:00 and thats an early day. Resale stores here are more expensive then walmart it's crazy. I got cloths for 1.50$ at Khols and walmart.

Oh I wish I kept the boy cloths from the older boys, but I didn't really think I would be having more kids this far down the road.

GSs are far too early. I found one that was advertised from noon to 5 p.m. and went purely to commend the hostess on holding one at a reasonable hour. She agreed with the logic. I bought a fancy lamp from her.

Mrs. T-B. is ultra-fond of Kohl'$, sigh man. Fortunately, I find Internet coupons for $5 off, so those soften the blow, sigh man.

We're keeping most of Mini-B.'s clothes in hope, wee man...

I still vividly remember the weekend of Jan. 18-19, 1979, when 9 inches of snow fell on the Saturday and there was blowing & drifting on Sunday. My best buddy & I spent 5 hours clearing my parents' driveway. If I never see another snowflake, I won't care, no man!
