OK so I'm in facebook, and peek into the visajourney group there. And some Filipina is requesting donations for a lawyer because their CR-1 was rejected for a dishonorable discharge from the military. They've got themselves set up on one of those accept donations sites, and making a very big plea for help. Now this doesn't quite add up to me so I go searching into what the real story is. Figure out the petitioners name and google it. Sure enough there is a legal rendering on the guy on an appeal he filed. Adam Walsh Act violation as the guy had sodomized his 8 year old daughter. Google Linus Romey and it will pop up. But was really shocking is people were asking why she would even be with this man, and if she would have kids with him. And she said I trust him completely and would have kids with him. I totally wanted to scream. The topic has been deleted now, I'm not sure if by the op or the admin. But in the mean time they got their donation site shut down to. I don't think they liked the money was gonna be used to help a peodofile get a young wife in to make babies for him. I'm still shaking my head in disbelief.

That fellow Linus Romey created a thread here sometimes ago, complaining about how unfair Adam Walsh Act is. The thread somehow got deleted.

I won't be surprised that some birdbrain women would fall for this guy, blindsided by his lies.

We're just going to see about an inch of snow today. I'm worried about Sunday and Monday though, -27 as the low with -12 being the high temp. I think I need to call in sick on Monday. I wanna see a 20 degree wind chill day again soon.

Oh man.. I used to live in OH and NJ, and I do not miss the bitter cold and snow. I have to plan a trip to be in snow again eventually though. My husband has only witnessed snow on TV/movies, so I would really like to take him to experience some up close and personal. He gets cold in 70 degree weather, so it will be interesting.

Hope it warms up soon for all of you!

Its only 10 inches! When I was a kid we'd whine it wasn't enough snow!

Send your daughter out, she'll show you how to enjoy the snow!

She had a blast. But it's really cold. We're not as well geared for snow as MN is...

I went out earlier, seemed fine.

Wy are you out when I told you to go dig up baby pic? :)

We just have rain, rain and more rain over here.

Yea but we really dun care about England Buckwheat.....now when you move to RI, tell us about the weather by all means :)

Yeah you ain't kiddin.....

But I don't think they'll be here that much longer. Their kid is returning to the US. And I'm not letting them stay here. The kid is just too.....bad.

I'll reclaim my basement and.....do something with it......

I help to shovel the driveway all the time.

You have to earn your keep too? Lol

I don't miss shoveling the snow most of the time but from time to time I do. I liked the peacefulness of it, how the kids would slide off our roof after we got it all shoveled off. Plus all that fresh air and the crisp bite that came with it was a nice feeling. I think one day of it would cure me of missing it. :P

Well, according to the other half it's freaking cold in RI and there's plenty of snow. But she doesn't have to work, thankfully.

Oh yes. They had to buy a round trip ticket for Tiffs cousin to go to Malaysia to retrieve the kid. We'll see how that plays out.

Right now, Gump is downstairs taking a nap, while his wife and my wife are setting up the food that I went to get.....

I'm a-swillin' Welch's Concord Grape Juice Cocktail (from concentrate, no less) straight from the bottle.

Mrs. T-B. does not serve spicy foods either, much to the dismay of her Gringo husband.

If she does anything, she ruins it with cilantro, one more occurrence of which will without doubt lead to a second Former Mrs. T-B.

My juice of choice is 100% cranberry juice, no sugar added.

Are you allergic to cilantro, or you just really hate the taste of it?
