well....it happened......like every snow storm.....6-7 AM, the door bell rings, waking the whole house. usually a migrant worker looking to shovel the snow for 10-20 bucks.

I forgot to turn off the door bells.....

I'm one of those guys that when I'm up, I'm up. Theres no going back to sleep.

I guess I'll make like Tarklar and sit here and talk to myself...........

My door bells don't work, good at keeping unwanted door to door ppl away.

The biggest issue hubby faces is that everyone here either ONLY speaks spanish, or speaks with a spanish accent.

He grew up in Canada.

He knows french-canadian accents, not mexican-american accents.

He can't understand ANYTHING anyone says.

It amazes me too because he told me he couldn't understand ANYTHING this lady on the phone said because of her accent, then I spoke with her, and I didn't even realize she had an accent because I'm so used to it =X

I still have trouble with the way ppl talk here, through in a southern drawl and mumbling

I'm playing on VJ when I should be doing Company Man stuff or addressing envelopes for Mini-B.'s upcoming birthday party, three man.

Husbands cake turned out good, I should not of eaten any though. Heart burn city afterwards.

Resale shops and (better) garage sales, see ma'am. Only way to do it.

Boys ruin more clothes or join more nudist colonies, therefore fewer, see man.

Garage sales are way too early for me I don't crawl out of bed much before 10:00 and thats an early day. Resale stores here are more expensive then walmart it's crazy. I got cloths for 1.50$ at Khols and walmart.

Oh I wish I kept the boy cloths from the older boys, but I didn't really think I would be having more kids this far down the road.

It's not a matter of cheapness, it's the fact that these a holes woke me up before 7 to try to beat the other ahole for the job. I'd much rather pay the kids on the block anyway. Not an illegal immigrant.

If they were nice and came at 9, I woulda hired them. But at 7, it was still snowing. Now am I irate? Yes. Very much....

Yeah, it is. I sorted through pretty much the whole attic last week and the like 20 boxes of my household stuff and baby stuff. There's this weird secondary infertility moment you get to where you have to decide whether to keep or toss the baby stuff. In the end, I mean we had already gotten rid of at least a truckload of baby clothes, so now I just wanted to keep the really nice boutique baby clothes and my old clothes that the little one wore (she still plays with my toys too!). My mother is insisting on keeping all this baby gear, just in case we have another - but she just can't get it through her thick head that it isn't something that's very likely to happen, even with IVF and it will probably be a long shot and a PITA to try for several cycles with Danish donor sperm (having to fly there each cycle).

*sigh* Then, she complains there is too much baby stuff in the attic! Errrmmm??

Oh, and now we have a problem with these buyers, supposedly their bank hasn't cleared them to close yet - we are supposed to be closing on Friday!

I don't know, I think they might have been loaned 3000 from a friend for the down payment which is a no no for the bank after everything has been calculated, but I'm not sure. They got their mortgage commitment 13 days late or so, so perhaps the bank just isn't ready.

I think it is about K1 visas and foreign ladies.

He actually does not have a very strong accent like some ppl here, he definitely has one though. Like when he says boil I swore up and down he was saying bowl. I just tell him the Canadians out number him in this house so the baby will speak Canadian Our 2 year old already says pop not coke or soda, it's rubbing off on her good.
