Yes. he works not 2 minutes from my work so I drop him off at 545 and come straight here.

There's a couch in the front lobby.

Someone may actually find me sleeping on it one morning.

We have local vendors that I know work similar hours.

I am going to subtly contact them and ask if they are hiring.

I just need to find the appropriate way to do this.

for him lmao.

I just sent an email to one of our vendors from my personal email.

I don't know if this is innapropriate or not.

I hope not.

I told them I understood if they didn't have anything open or didn't feel he would be a good fit for anything.

I just figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

One down, one to go.

I believe this is what people call "networking"

I hope one of these places has an opening.

The biggest issue hubby faces is that everyone here either ONLY speaks spanish, or speaks with a spanish accent.

He grew up in Canada.

He knows french-canadian accents, not mexican-american accents.

He can't understand ANYTHING anyone says.

It amazes me too because he told me he couldn't understand ANYTHING this lady on the phone said because of her accent, then I spoke with her, and I didn't even realize she had an accent because I'm so used to it =X

Who would volunteer for that knowing there's no way they'd ever be able to come home? What a terrifying idea.

Terrifying, but a little exciting to. I wouldn't want to go, but I can totally understand people wanting to go.

My husband would probably like all the foods you guys keep talking about. He eat all kinds of weird things tongue.png

I on the other hand am very picky, I don't eat spicy foods either. I'm far from adventurist in many aspects that includes food.

No snow here in the Sunshine State, but it is cold for down here. Freeze watch is on, and the wind chill is suppose to be around 20 tonight. It is already at 32, and I cranked the heat up. Wrapped in my warm, fuzzy, soft robe I don't get to use often, while sipping on coffee with delicious vanilla brown sugar creamer.

Hope all of you in the deep snow lands stay safe and warm!

We're just going to see about an inch of snow today. I'm worried about Sunday and Monday though, -27 as the low with -12 being the high temp. I think I need to call in sick on Monday. I wanna see a 20 degree wind chill day again soon.
