Husband got his GC in the mail finally. Been busy as a c*ntfucker for the last few weeks. Been applying to new jobs, hoping I can snatch a 9-5 one. Think my schedule now is putting undue stress on our relationship. It's sad.

I got Ali an aquarium only because I woke up a few mornings ago and checked my bank accounts, only to see that I've been accruing credit cards points for the last 4 years and I could redeem them for cash. It was a true xmas miracle.

Indeed, I have returned.

And I did get through damned quickly, yes. Part of it might have been down to the age-old trick of putting on the online DS-2001 that I was leaving Dec 22nd for a Dec 29th Marriage and London kind of went "OMG Need Interview for this one STAT!". So literally 5 days after I got back from the Thanksgiving trip I was in London. You can read my review for the rest, it's pretty detailed.

But, yeah. Interviewed 10th, Issued 12th, delivered today, and leave Jan 17th.

Thankin' ye. I'm pretty much ready to go, I just need to tell the Landlord tomorrow and also get the tax form done.

As for family/friends.. well, I've had my leaving do with the Scouts crew. I'm spending Christmas Day with the family and having a slap-up meal with them, New Year's I'm going to stay with an old friend of mine for about 4 days or so.. probably going to have another meal with my closest friends down here and then on the 17th most of my family is coming to see me off at Heathrow.

Amazing! Is Amy ready? What are the wedding details? To whom do we send the card?

Amy's been preparing for this for a good month or two now - clearing out space, getting a new dresser for me (or rather the in-laws did) to put my clothes in, stuff like that. And we've timed my arrival so Amy's not working that weekend. I think you all know what's going to happen. Fun fact - we bought a new PS3 over Thanksgiving for $200 and it included Arkham Origins and The Last of Us and her name's on the PSN account with one change. She's used my surname instead of her own.

Wedding details.. no doubt now I have the visa in hand we're going to book the courthouse for some time in Feb/Mar so we've got enough time to get me properly suited and booted and get some of Amy's family down here to celebrate. We'll have the courthouse wedding, a good meal and then Amy and I will spend the weekend in one of the posh hotels in Providence. That's the plan at the moment, at least.

And card? Well, probably best if you sent that to Amy, lol. If you actually want to do that I can give you her address in PM.
