Back from spending New Year's with my friends in Gloucester.. damned storms causing landslides and blocking railway lines, though. >.>

1. Hubby and siblings used to fight over the burnt layer of rice at the bottom of the pan, but blech. It was their favorite thing

2. I'm starting to miss Ecu weather with all this cold!

3.a. Hubby likes rice, but does just fine without it.

3.b. My BILs, on the other hand, act like they'll shrivel up and die, God forbid a day go by in which they don't eat it.

4. Unfortunately we didn't have any grapes, and he'd forgotten to buy yellow underwear. He was also quite miffed to realize we don't have a large sit down meal at midnight.

1. I miss burnt potato chips (excuse me, potato cheap*) that used to populate bags of cheap* way back when, sigh man.

2. I could use a little Guayaquil myself right now, brrr man.

3.a. is why Señor Part Cuatro is on the path to citizenship. 3.b. is why the BILs (should be BsIL) will be denied tourist visas.

4. I forgot about the yellow underwear, but all it takes is one good #1 accident in white ones, weewee man. Tell Sr. Part Cuatro that gringos enjoy the fireworks or watch the Times Square ball drop, then are back at the casa preparing for bed at 12:10 a.m., zzz man.

Supposed to get down to 27 frigid degrees F. here two nights running, hmmmph man.

1. Can't say I even know what the main language is in Singapore.

2. Put these chunks of chocolate in water and boil them. Pour into cups and add a touch of milk. Kind of different tasting but good. Supposably it keeps you together for the whole year.

2. Use chocolate Ex-Lax and it will keep you together in the bathroom for the whole year.

I went baby cloths shopping, found some good sales at Khols and walmart prices were 1.50 to 4 dollars. I did get one 3 piece outfit at Khols for 12$. Why don't they make more cloths for boys like they do for the girls, it was so much easier finding girl stuff.

Resale shops and (better) garage sales, see ma'am. Only way to do it.

Boys ruin more clothes or join more nudist colonies, therefore fewer, see man.

sipping on coffee with delicious vanilla brown sugar creamer

I'm a-swillin' Welch's Concord Grape Juice Cocktail (from concentrate, no less) straight from the bottle.

Went out after work to drag out the garbage, whee man. Decided to rake the approximately Many leaves, none of which were ours, from the driveway apron and the contiguous curbsides. Filled the balance of my 95-gallon can plus all the neighbor's 95-gallon can, crushing contents downward toward the holding of more, before running out of can-space but not leaves, si and no man. I decided to leaf things alone after that, see man.

Oak leaves do serve to remove the pungent stink from garbage bins, boon man.

I do not eat spicy foods either, much to the dismay of my Mexican husband

Mrs. T-B. does not serve spicy foods either, much to the dismay of her Gringo husband.

If she does anything, she ruins it with cilantro, one more occurrence of which will without doubt lead to a second Former Mrs. T-B.

Note to Self while Talking to Self, As Usual at This Hour: Must get self off VJ and begin addressing Mini-B.'s party envelopes, si man. Nobody lives in a historic town in southeastern Pennsylvania, so there will be no Gettysburg address, no man. Afterwards, cat + prep + bed, zzz man.

Yes, Comrade. The rainstorms over here were bad enough they caused the ground to give way in one of the valleys the line goes through, and blocked it. The bus I travelled on to get to the train station also had to go around a rockslide in that valley.

No snow here in the Sunshine State, but it is cold for down here. Freeze watch is on, and the wind chill is suppose to be around 20 tonight. It is already at 32, and I cranked the heat up. Wrapped in my warm, fuzzy, soft robe I don't get to use often, while sipping on coffee with delicious vanilla brown sugar creamer.

Hope all of you in the deep snow lands stay safe and warm!

well....it happened......like every snow storm.....6-7 AM, the door bell rings, waking the whole house. usually a migrant worker looking to shovel the snow for 10-20 bucks.

I forgot to turn off the door bells.....

I'm one of those guys that when I'm up, I'm up. Theres no going back to sleep.

I guess I'll make like Tarklar and sit here and talk to myself...........
