arg the trackpad on my macbook pro doesn't indent anymore when i press it so i can never tell whether or not my "clicks" have gone through. i've been killing my wrist trying to find the *one* spot on my trackpad that still makes that satisfying "thwp" sound. i brought it to the apple store the other day and they basically said i have to get a brand new frame (?!?!), in which case i might as well get a new one. any mac users here experience the same thing and/or know of a fix?

Kit sure has good command of the English language........for a Singaporean.... Lol

Yea I was gonna say...that looks like a big feast.

Can't say I even know what the main language is in Singapore. Had a bunch here for a machine we were building for them. I just remember they use a lot English words that are not used for the same thing in American English. Kind of like the Brits and Ozzys do.

My wife has a reason for every single dish that is on the table. This year she decided we didn't need duck though. I guess some other dishes covered the need for it. There was also this Filipino chocolate drink we toasted with at midnight. Put these chunks of chocolate in water and boil them. Pour into cups and add a touch of milk. Kind of different tasting but good. Supposably it keeps you together for the whole year. You have to eat a sticky desert so you stick together too, we had sapin sapin, which I really like.

Singaporeans and Malaysians are quite multi lingual. But the Malaysian ####### English pronunciations are terrible. The accentuations are all wrong. They tend to stress the last syllables a lot....like Toyo-tá. Hondá....

That drink, similar to milo? Or ovaltine?

I say toyota and honda (emphasis on the underlined syllable).

Of course, neither are very good examples of one's pronunciation of English words...being Japanese.

Aha not when I bought it, I don't have that kinda dough. I think it's under 2K now.

If it really does die on me, I might get an imac instead once I'm in Seattle.

Don't blame you there, the screen is so small on the Macbook pros I've seen. Can't stand when someone wants help with their computer and they've got a little 13" screen.

I can't stand it when my SIL or Gump wants help with their laptops, and it's Chinese windows!
