Oh, most of Texas, save for Wichita Falls, Amarillo, Abilene or Lubbock, where they actually have the right gear and the crews are trained to use it.

About 10 years ago, fortunately in the summer, I took a getaway vacation. Flew into Amarillo; rented a car; drove northwest through Dalhart; overnighted in Clayton, Nuevo Mexico; drove due east through the Oklahoma Panhandle; got two speeding-tickets (that's just fewer than "many") within an hour of each other in Guymon, Okla.; popped up to Liberal, Kansas; drove back diagonally across Okla. Panhandle into Texas; overnighted in Canadian, Texas (done intentionally in order to take fotos [spanish spelling] and collect literature to send to recent ex-girlfriend in Actual Canada, who was fond of trashing Texas in favo{u}r of Canada); saw some other scenic towns; flew home and dealt with speeding-tickets, sigh man. Didn't meet any panhandlers or liberals on the trip, no man.

The Texas Panhandle is as scenic as it gets, sce... er, see man. Of note, the terrain is not flat north of Amarillo, no man.

Non-Rant: Was too tired to detour for an errand, so stopped at Sears Hardware to look for some 3-volt lithium batteries, 3 man... er, V man. Had never before looked for those there, no man. They were $3 (formerly, $Many) cheaper than at Radio Shack, amazing man.

Non-Rant: Even Mrs. T-B. is now getting the picture that doing the lion's share of our grocery-shopping at Aldi Foods is mucho-well-worth it, $i man.

Query of the self-styled or actual experts here, si man: Keyless remote to the T-B.-mobile has been balky for a while. It usually (but not always) locks the jalopy from close range; it almost always unlocks the jalopy only from many yards away. Battery-replacement has no effect, no man. Whussup, huh man -- time to get a new one? Any way to program one other than at the (grrrrr) dealership, huh man?

What it looks like: It's basically a big old sticker covering Page 8 of my passport and looks very much like the biographical page of passports you get these days. On the left it has the photo they scanned. The bottom is a machine-readable section. As for actual design - has a blue (with "VISA" written on it on top-left corner), red (United States of America written on it in middle) and gold (With Liberty Bell and VISA again, this time vertically down the right side of the page). It contains my surname, name, passport number, number of entries allowed, my A#, DOB, date of issue and date of expiry as well as the country/city of issue and the class.

Name is correctly spelled.

Your good silverware is currently sitting on the side in the kitchen, too. Not stashed and not used either.

Had this been some other marklar, no way would I expect him to pay for an appraisal, I would have expect one marklar to find one at a garage sale, and for another marklar to make one out of scraps of old paper.
