Canadian leaving US

My sister is Canadian she was even living in the us since she was 6 years old. She is now 18. She has a work permit and social which she got from the Obama child act. She was to go to Trinidad to visit our father but doesn't know if she would be allowed back into the US? Since she is Canadian she did not come to the US with a visa (Canadians don't need visas to visits the US) she came with my parents.

not with the work permit. it is not a travel document. she would need the i131 advance parole to leave and justify the need to travel.

I suggest she go back to Canada after her work permit expires,

then get a new Canadien passport,

then go visit her father.

This 'one-trip' is going to be some problem - so it's best to do it after her 'papers' in the USA expires and she repatriates herself to Canada.

maybe you didn't understand that she got deferred action, that's why she has a work permit. she just wants to go visit her father and return. she would need an advance parole for that

To make things easy on your sis tell her to go back to Canada and fly from there and return there after her trip to Trinidad. Then return to the US. Your sis is 18 i don't think she want any hassle at this time, it can frighten the hell out of her if she is denied entry on her way back to the US.
